From: CLARKDA@NKU.EDU Subject: GD 10-16-81 tree Date: Sat, 07 Mar 1998 18:53:22 -0400 (EDT) Where's the structure for this tree? --Dan Also, will someone PLEASE hook me up w/ GD 12-11-79. It's in Kansas at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall and I happen to know some of you guys have it because I've seen it some people's lists. As I said before, if I get this tape I'll do my part and administer a tree so that everyone who wants it can enjoy this poorly circulated tape.
From: ItsUp2Uman <ItsUp2Uman@aol.com> Subject: SONY TCD-D3 DAT and ACCESSORIES FOR SALE Date: Sat, 7 Mar 1998 19:06:59 EST SONY TCD-D3 DAT and ACCESSORIES FOR SALE I am eventually upgrading my taping rig and need to sell this gear. Sony TCD-D3 DAT deck, manual and AC power supply/Charger In great shape, used very little and works perfectly. Small scratch on the display, purely cosmetic. There are NO original Nicad batteries with this deck (they only last 1 ˝ hrs ) This is the old, reliable unit many prefer over the D7/D8. Just cleaned professionally! Sony ECM-S220 Single-Point Stereo Microphone: Powered by the D3 (6-9V) It Has Voice and Music mode, and a Telescopic mode for recording far from the source. Very small, for low key recording Not the best, but very convenient, versatile, and easy to use. Sony System Carrying Case LCH-D3 Hard Case for the D3 and its accessories. Holds the Deck, two Nicad batteries (not included), the AC power supply, several DAT tapes, and the ECM-S220 Stereo Microphone, lead acid batteries, and the rest of the gear you take with you. Over $100 NEW Oade Brother's 7Pin to Coax In and Out Cable: Digital Patch cable for connecting to Coax/Spdif. Allows simultaneous Input and Output. $150 new. I would like $100 but I will accept offers. Custom 6Volt Portable Power Source: Uses Nicad battery connection. Much more secure than the standard power plug, which doesn't lock into place. Includes 6AH Lead Acid Battery (8 hours record time), and two 2.5 AH Lead Acid Batteries (about 3 hours record time each), and a Manual Charger (you'll need to make sure to not overcharge them). The parts were about $90 new, last year. I think the D-3, Mic., Hard Case and Custom PS should probably go as a package, BUT Make An Offer on any of the pieces (Deck, Microphone, Case, Digital I/O Cable, and Custom 6Volt Portable Power Supply) I live in Portland Oregon in case you are nearby…. From: "Kevin Monty" <hook@together.net> Subject: Vermont Run Tree Date: Sat, 7 Mar 1998 19:20:50 -0500 Alright folks, i think its about time to get this underway. What i'm trying to do here is run a tree of the last 2 disco biscuits shows in burlington. The sources of the tapes are AKG 480(460?) -> dap1 for both nights. The band provided the mics and if someone could help me out with the correct mic info(i.e. the mic capsules and body #) it'd be appreciated. Alright, so this is what the tree needs to work, 1.) Participation of dat folks...i can't be spinning D>D and D>A for this tree, i simply don't have the time. 2.) Participation of everyone, this tree can't have people flaking otherwise it obviously won't work. On with the application. Send all applications to: hook@together.net Put what position your requesting in the Subject line....meaning D>D, D>A, A>A also attatch the number of kids you are willing to take on (NO LEAF REQUESTS PLEASE) Default number of kids being 3 for analog, 2 for D>D Name: Address: PhoneNumber: Email(including alternate email accounts): **************************************************************************** ******************* Analog applications fill out this section: Analog deck(s) (include number of heads and model/make): Number of heads(both decks): Comments: **************************************************************************** ******************* Digital -> Analog Applications fill out this section: Make/Model of dat deck: Make/Model of analog deck(s) including number of heads: Comments: **************************************************************************** ******************* Digital -> Digital Applications fill out this section: Make/model of dat decks: Comments: 2 final things. First, ONLY INCLUDE WHAT I NEED TO PROCESS YOUR APPLICATION(do not include my intro.) Second, by submiting this application you agree not to make any type of profit from these tapes..i suppose trading for sex is ok...and you also agree to make copies for the people you are assigned. Do not sign up if you don't intend to keep your commitments..i'm not a guy you want to annoy. Thanks.
