I was wondering if anyone got to Harrisonburg last week and taped the
Lilys, Olivia Tremor Control, Cash Money, Delta 72, Elf Power show? I
would really be interested in getting copies of Lilys, OTC etc.... Lots
to trade- thanks
Tape Ozomatli!! I saw them last night and they are cool with just about
all taping. Ask to speak to Lalo (LA-LOW). They are playing in Santa
Cruz & San Jose and also opening for Santana in San Francisco. Go early
and check them out.

Hello All,
Would any taper fortunate enough to get into this weekends Phil & Friends
shows like to pass the tunes along to some of us who didn't get in, please.
You can find my list at http://www.deanos.net/dat.html if you want to set
up a trade. I can burn Dat to CD, but right now it's a D>A>D conversion
running through a Mac G3 @ 44.1khz in 16bit. I'd be more than willing to
spin CD's for atleast five analogers out there who don't mind the "A" in
the D>A>D conversion.
Thanks in Advance.

Hey all,
I've been agonizing over how to transfer my DATs to CDR, especially in light
of resampling to 44.1 khz. I really didn't want to get a new soundcard like
the Zefiro, especically since it's over $400. I didn't want to do it with
software because it's so slow. For those of you in a similar boat, read on...
This thing seems to do it all...real-time sample rate conversion, SCMS
killer, digital patch bay...and it's under $300!
check it out...btw, i'm in no way associated with this product except for the
fact that i'm overwhelmed by its versatility and price...
http://www.samsontech.com/behringer/index.html
The Behringer Ultramatch SRC 2000
Features
Format changes professional and consumer mode, AES/EBU, SPDIF coaxial or
optical
Accepts every sampling frequency between 25 kHz and 60 kHz
Converts into the output frequencies 44.1 kHz or 32 kHz
All three outputs (XLR, cinch, optical) are in operation at the same time
(splitter function)
”Copy-bit killer” removes the SCMS copy protection
Balanced, transformer de-coupled inputs and outputs
Removes jitter and corrects off-tune, wrong sampling frequencies
Digital patch bay
Universal, external
synchronization via word clock
Bridges unformatted passages on DAT and other media

Hey guys,
I'd like to let you all know that I've received the cd's from Wes (got
them yesterday), so this proves that he is a good trader. He just had
a lot of stuff going on, which delayed things a little bit, but I'm
sure everyone on this list has been a little slow due to real life
happenings. So, I'd like to take this time to retract the post, and
hopefully the war will end and his reputation will remain as it was.
In case anyone cares, I received a shitload of good references about
this guy, which made me feel better about the trade (this was before I
got the stuff), as well as two negative letters by people who were
obviously being untruthful (I know one of the guys was exposed). Wes,
I'm sorry about all this and I hope you can forgive me.
Elliot

Generally, dats in bubble envelopes are just under 2 oz. each (around
4 dats you "gain" an ounce).
So, $0.55 for one, $0.99 for two.
That's for dats in their plastic cases, without other padding except
the bubbles.
