From: "Paul deLima" <pdelima3@hotmail.com> Subject: FS: Monster M1000i rca cables Date: Sat, 28 Apr 2001 10:43:08 -0400 For Sale: One pair Monster M1000i RCA > RCA cables (0.5 meter) Condition: Excellent Retail Price (new): $150.00 My Price (used): $90.00 ($90.00 includes shipping within Continental U.S.) Notes: I purchased these cables to use in my home stereo - between my cd player & my preamp. However, shortly after I got these cables, I bought a new CD player which had balanced (XLR) outs. I have since switched to balanced cables, so I no longer need these Monster RCA cables. The Monster M1000i's were only used in my stereo for 5 days - they are basically brand new. I have the orignal packaging & receipt which I will include with the cables. Money Order or C.O.D. preferred............. please respond to pdelima@dreamscape.com if interested. thanks Paul _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com

From: Romain Kang <romain@kzsu.stanford.edu> Subject: 24-bit audio and computer drives Date: Sat, 28 Apr 2001 12:04:48 -0700 (PDT) Has anyone transferred 24-bit DAT audio (e.g., from as Tascam DA-45HR) to computer through an audio-capable tape drive? I don't see any hooks for it in the DATlib source code, and I wonder whether the format is documented anywhere... From: Delano <bluesky@mindspring.com> Subject: editing digital recording Date: Sat, 28 Apr 2001 18:51:30 -0400 I taped Dylan last night, and overall had decent results. However, twice during the show, I & my mic's were jostled around (crowd zombies) creating a sudden spike in the recording. I have the pro version of SoundForge 4.5 and also the demo version Cool Edit (1.2 - I think). However, I have not had a chance to use either of them yet. Is there an online SoudForge FAQ? Take Care, Delano http://www.mindspring.com/~bluesky/index.htm
