I have 1 pair Beyerdynamic MCE 83 cardioid condensor mics. They come with clips, pouches, and boxes and have only been used once. I bought them about a year ago for $460, and due to some good fortune, upgraded to the MBHO's. If anyones interested I can send a sample recording. I will consider any offers OVER $300. Stand as close as possible to the speakers. Wear Earplugs !!!! Start with a level of "7". If recording level is too low, leave it alone, it's easier to fix later. If it's too high, turn it down. Don't move around. Just look at your deck once, then leave it alone! --G ------------------------------ From: Rich Mays Subject: PCMCIA laptop card Reply-To: richmays@home.com Date: Thu, 24 May 2001 21:56:56 +0000 I am looking for suggestions for a PCMCIA card for an IBM Thinkpad laptop, but not for recording. I need it to get digital input to run some very helpful audio software from that is similar to Spectrafoo. Therefore, it does not need to be "state-of-the-art"-- 16-bit is fine. I am a bit at a loss, as this is my first experience in the PC/Windows world, and my years of Mac are not helping much with this! If someone has a card for sale (preferably with AES/EBU input capability) pls respond privately. Since levels can fluctuate a bit between songs at a live gig, this seems the likely cause. I'd just use the R500 to erase the unwanted track marks and then renumber. Do you have a manual? You could look up the procedure. -- Wayne D. Well, not exactly a someone, but a machine...... If the recording dat machine was set to "Auto ID", it would write an ID every time the sound level fell below a certain threshold. Most likely, this is the cause of the multiple track ID's between songs.
