Also, I am flying from here (Sunny Florida) to Denver on 6/29/01 to catch SCI Red Rocks, Steamboat and Phil & Friends. I am totally psyched!! (being a the Geologist that I am) I have never taped at Red Rocks before. From what I can tell, wind could be a big issue, as well as other weather elements, (no brainer) as well as an echo off the rocks themselves. Right now, I am planning on taping from right behind the SBD. Will I be able to make a good tape from there?? Since I am flying w/ my gear, I plan on only taking my clamp and not my stand. It has worked fine for Phish Tour in the past. I would love to hear from some other tapers that are hitting these shows, as well as any tapers that have extensive experience taping at this venue. I will definitely be one of the first ones in the venue and hope to be right behind the SBD (if that is a preferred place). I will need to find another kind taper that will let me clamp on to his or her stand. In return, I will be offering as many patches as I can handle. Got a couple other topics, so please don't freakout. Any locals that might be able to share some good restaurant info would be greatly appreciated too. I would like to find some cool vegetarian places (if they exist), as well as Middle Eastern and/or Ethiopian. I am a vinyl junkie who collects Hawkwind records when I am on the road. Can anyone recommend any good record stores in the Denver area??? Also, Mike Clark's Prescription Renewal is playing the FOX Theater in Boulder on 7/2/01. The warranty is transferable, so you will have it at your disposable through this coming january, for head cleanings, etc. I can't give you the exact number of head hours, but I have barely used it over the past two years (having dropped out of DAT trading for the most part). I had the heads professionally cleaned about 8 months ago, courtesy of the warranty. It's a great machine for trading (defeats SCMS, optical/coax digi in/outs, etc). Asking $299, a bargain. Anyone already had this problem? it seems that the battery box is ok. When I tickle the line/mic in, the level is ok sometimes, but really do not know if the cable is the problem or the plug or the PCM. So if anyone knows if there is some known problem, thanks in advance. I hope that I could repair by myself, no PCM repair is possible in France, nor the Core Sound !!!
