Anybody know any details on this PC Soundcard? I got
this exert from there web site:
"Pro Studio Applications
The Sound Blaster Audigy supports 24-bit/96kHz format
over the digital I/O for compatibility with
professional audio gear such as AES-EBU equipment.
Users interested in music creation can utilize the EAX
ADVANCED HD optimized driver designed for low-latency
ASIO™ support, providing low-latency multi-track
recording."
Do you all think they fixed the resampling issue with
this new "Audigy" chip?
Thanks,
Richard

played in '95. anyone willing to share a few DAT clones?
any other Dead shows would be cool too, the more source info on them the

Hi Folks-
A bit of an update on the new website www.taperfriendly.com
I have secured temporary space for the files to reside and put up a small
page basically showing what is going to happen there.
Please check it out and let me know what you think. What I am hoping to do
is to put some more bands at ease with the taping community by establishing
trust between us and them. The way I want to do this is to encourage fans
to purchase cd and merchandise from taper friendly bands (and providing
links to bands pages and merchandise vendors) and also by monitoring ebay
and yahoo auctions and the like for sales of unauthorized recordings (by
taper friendly bands) and then listing these sales on a listserve so ebay or
yahoo can quickly get a bunch of complaints so the items are removed.
Really, above all I want to financially reward taper friendly bands and
encourage others to do the same. They deserve it. (btw, this is a
non-profit venture)
There is signup info for folks that would like to help in this effort on the
page ( just send a blank email to taperfriendly-suscribe@yahoogroups.com )
and I would love some help compiling info and contacting bands about our
effort. I am also looking for some permanent space for this page to be
stored - so if you have a webserver and can help please let me know.
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Take Care,
Colorado Paul

ok, i had planned on sitting on this one but what's up with the other
sources from this show? i have a sonic studios dsm6s/l > pa6lc3 (80 Hz)
> pcm-m1 dat master sect 22 row 3 > cdr master. i understand there is a neumann source from a mike stand out there somewhere so i'm wondering how that sounds? reason for my initial thoughts of sitting on this one was two fold. no, i'm not some elite mofo it's just there was a brief cut during the false start of no surprises due to sh*t batteries in the deck. there are no channel drop outs and it only effected a few seconds of the actual song. the second reason...well...i don't need to discuss. but i'm open to trades for other radiohead 01 source known shows.
