I've been unable to get in contact with my taper for this show. I'm in
need of someone (DAT only, please) to tape this show.
11/8/2001 The Orpheum, Vancouver, BC
This is Tori's first solo tour since 1994. I'm attempting to make certain
that every show is taped. The setlists up till now have been amazing.
Your ticket will be provided.
You will need to tape this show stealth.
Please e-mail me ASAP if you can help!
Thanks,
Keith

I got into this one last night on a last minute comp, and how
grateful am I??? 5 rows off the grand tier balcony railing, front
and center. Amazing show, as anyone who has taped her on this tour
can vouch.
Bjork
10/17/01
Oakland, CA
Paramount Theater
M1>CSB Mod
2 sets: first at 37 mins., the second at 58 mins.
I'm a unidecker, but I hope to clean this up a little this weekend
and throw it to 2 discs. I am very pleased with the recording -- the
acoustics of the venue are spectacular.
I haven't recorded much/traded in ages, since selling my V2 and mics.
I will consider trades, though, for:
--other Bjork '01 (that Saint Chapelle show from August or Boston, in
particular)
--Radiohead, 6.27.01 @ Shoreline Amphitheater, Mtn. View
--Any Jazz June (recent stuff preferred)
--RATM, Oct. 1999, Roseland Ballroom, NYC
Cheers,

At some point in your equipment chain, you were in the analog domain.
This sounds like a classic case of microphone pre-amp overload
distortion (aka "brickwalling").
What mic pre/A-to-D were your mics feeding? Were you monitoring the
mic pre-amp for overloading?

Your symptoms are not what you'd get if it was mic overload.

Correct.
I hope this helped!

between the 2448, Audiophile 2496, or the Professional 2496. also i found a
cable that i liked better than the coresound cable because the 7-pin end is
shielded and they arent easily bendable. the link is below so lemme know off
list if you think that would be ok...thanks yall for your help!

What do people think is a better mic, the inexpensive Core Sound or
Sound Professionals model? I'll be recording both concerts and sound
effects into a Sharp minidisc recorder (MT-15).
Additionally I noticed that Radio Shack has a mic in that price
range............but I'm assuming that it sucks...........
Thanks
