Anyone out there tape this show? I've got a bunch of U2 Elevation shows
and tons of other material to trade. This concert marked the first time my
wife has requested that I find a tape for her (we were there). Normally, she
gets pretty pissed about the amount of trading I do. So if anyone can help,
I assure you it is for a very noble cause...:)
Thanks.

I bought this thing in Columbia last week on my SKB mini-"tour" so that we
could listen to the shows we'd taped while driving. Now that we're back,
coupled with the facts that I do not own a DAT machine and that my car does
not have a *tape deck* in it, means I don't need this thing anymore. I ran
it with a 1/8"-to-1/4" adapter and a Tascam DA-P1 and it sounded dandy.
I bought it in a Radio Shack for about $22 with tax and all, and I'll sell
it to anybody who wants it for cheap. It's a pretty handy thing to have in
the 'bag o' tricks' for the road. Great for those "how'd it sound?" drives
home.

Hey folks -
I just wanted to let you all know that we have dropped prices on many of our
digital soundcards that are ideal for DAT->CDR transfer, including the
popular EgoSys 2496, U2A, and Digital Audio Labs Card Deluxe.
thanks for the b/w.

Hey All-
I'm posting this for a friend, so please respond to the email below...
----
I'm thinking of getting a Zoltrix Nightingale soundcard. They cost around 50 bucks and supposedly do not resample. Before I jump on it I wanted to see if there was anything I should know, positive or negitive. Has anyone had experience with these cards. Please post or email to Cleantone @ Hotmail.com Thanks in advance.

i am selling my HHb PDR 1000. fresh back for service by dennis at NXT - the
best for HHb service. clean bill of health and had a drive motor replaced
due to occasional slow rewind with 90m tapes. (i sent this deck for annual
service to the LA HHb service center recommended by HHb and after $250 was
not comfortable with their work and elected to send it out again to dennis
so i would be confident it was in the best condition for sale). this is the
cadillac of portable decks and comes completely ready to go with two fresh
12v power-sonic 6.5AH lead acid batteries (built a la eco charge with short
protection and two gold 4 pin neutrik conn in abs covers), float charger
(also brand new from power-sonic), xlr>rca cable pair, aes-ebu digi cable,
co-ax digi cable, new power cable (1m w/ gold neutrik ends - one right
angle), and all the factory accessories (NiMH batt and charger power supply)
and manual. i will include a cleaning tape, but have never used one on this
deck. this deck has never failed me since i purchased it new from klay (even
tho' it occasionally had a slow rewind). it is in immaculate condition and
only the portabrace case is showing any signs of use.
pictures on request, POA.
i also have 4 brand new 6v 12 AH batteries (Powersonic PS-6100 F1) with the
same dual 4 pin neutrik connecters in an abs cover permanently attached to
the battery case. dimension are: 5" hi, 6" long, and 2" wide (.5" wider the
the 7.2 AH batt's of ecocharge)
i ordered some 6v batteries for some of my digital patch bay customers and
was accidentally sent 12v versions - and billed for'em... they were 2x6v
glued together. so i split them and made them up as 6v singles -
consequently one side shows some evidence of glue - nothing offensive, just
not cosmetically perfect. $80 each incl shipping. i will do my best to
assist on any power cable issues.
pictures on request.

Hello. I am sorry to trouble the list. Does anyone have any of the
following on CD-R to trade:
Alana Davis
Cree Summers
Healing Sixes (Jason Bonham's latest band)
70s era Bob Seger
Michael Stanley Band
Dixie Dregs or Steve Morse
Eddie Vedder performing with the Doors (minus Jim) at the Rock &

I have plenty to trade. Any help will be appreciated. Again, sorry to
trouble the list. Thanks!

Caught Popachubby in Gray,ME @ The Loose Moose on 11/4..wailing blues guitar. He gets there!! He is very taper friendly and encourages taping, trading, posting on the internet, whatever as long as you send him a copy. Besides that, he's a super great guy to talk to.
Check out www.poppachubby.com for dates. It is definitely worthwhile.
I have this show Neumann KM140's>>Beyer MV100>>Sony SBM1>>Tascam Dap1 about 15' from the stage, dead center. I could do a few trades, DAT only...no CD's yet.
Peace,
Jim Ratner
