From: "Paul Gibian" <ikoiko2u@attbi.com> Subject: TapeTracker and 2/21/69 Date: Sat, 29 Dec 2001 11:19:53 -0800 I would add that TapeTracker, while an excellent show database manager, has many set list errors for the Dead. I've used TT since early 1998 and always rely on Deadlists for accuracy (www.deadlists.com). From: Seth Breidbart <sethb@panix.com> Subject: Re: signal chain Date: Sat, 29 Dec 2001 23:59:37 -0500 (EST) >> Model of DAT deck is superfluous if an A to D converter is used. > > Which does little to explain why people buy AD1Ks and then run > them into HHbs or Stelladats with equally-high-end converters built in. :) The converter in the HHb isn't as good as the AD1K. The heads and transport in the HHb are much better than those in the D8, so you're more likely to get a good recording. Seth
