It was Los Lobos' show at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, CA. 12/9/01. I saw some tapers set up at the soundboard and in the audience and would really appreciate your help. Unfortunately I have nothing to trade right now, so this would have to be a B&P. FWIW, I'm looking for this show for a post-Christmas gift for my sister who had to bail at the last minute and couldn't make it there. Thanks & Happy New Year, Dave ------------------------------ From: Tom Subject: the tape is blank... Date: Wed, 02 Jan 2002 11:10:08 -0800 the morning after getting home from ratdog the other night - i popped the dat out of the sony D8. there was a little resistance and i found the tape was hanging a bit out of the tape case. i used gravity and luck to get the tape out of the deck without ripping the tape. i opened the flap on the tape and wound the tape back into the shell - it was only an inch or two- not much. went to play the dat on my home machine and the tape was blank. i am 99.9% positive the tape was rolling and i was getting a signal during the show. the clock timer showed 1hr40m when i picked the deck up and i rewound from there. where did the music go? is there any way to get it back? -- -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Thomas M. I bought brand new 3-4 years ago. This has been sent to oades for cleaning twice & twice to SONY for servicing (one time for the heads being replaced). This deck is in very good working order, and I really want to sell this (so I can buy more equipment for my new "passion"...:-) It comes with the Car/Cigarette Lighter Power Cord (it uses a special 3 volt power supply), and also, the mini-plug extension (for the remote control). These 2 accessories are worth ~$50 new I bought this for ~$300 3-4 years ago, and you can still get it serviced from Sony, so if you want a "cheap" DAT solution for the CAR, then this is it! I am not sure of the demand for this - but the first $200 will get you the deck, and I will consider reasonable offers... Date: Thu, 3 Jan 2002 00:32:35 +0100 Hi there, has anyone ever used the A3 battery box (which comes with the Soundman/OKM mics) with any of the AT8xx/9xx mics ? The A3 battery box from Soundman/OKM uses a 6V battery while most of the battery boxes available for the AT series mics use at least 9V. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Well we made it through another year (with no help from big brothers propaganda machine). Hopefully in the process of stripping us of every freedom known to man, they still allow us to continue trading tunes. While cleaning up my mess I come across some extras that need a good home.
