Hey Guys-
I had a buyer back out on me and then the other one figured it wouldn't work in his rig. So, I'm going to put this back out for everyone.
I'm selling my denecke ad-20 to upgrade to either the sbm-1, the gp or a bigger step to the minime. The unit is in excellent condition. Used for about 25-30 shows. Purcahsed from Sound Pros about a year ago.
XLR in's and Coax or Optical outs. Runs off of a 9v battery.
I'll also throw in the AC Adapter(retail $19) and the Dual XLR Male to 1/8'' stereo gold plated femate(retail $49) for free. I'm looking to get about $275 out of it or around there. Any serious offers will be considered. I purchased mine for around $400 new.
For more info on the AD-20, check out:
http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/category.cgi?category=570&item=DEN-AD20&type=store
After a couple of days, I'll email the high bid and they get it. It's kind of like a silent auction. I will let all perspectives know by Saturday morning.
Thanks guys!!!

I have a FIC VA503+ mobo, 64 Mb memory, with an AMD K6-3 450 speed CPU
that needs a good home.
There is room for 2 CD drives, 3 floppy/HD, one is hidden.
At this point I am not certain where I placed the drive case covers.
Both CDs and one floppy drive cover are among the missing.
All I wish is payment of shipping costs to you. I would prefer to ship
UPS, but will ship anywhere.
Rather than picking the first address, I will randomly pick from those
interested. You have until 1 day after the digest hits ME to respond.

ok, after you unpack a tape, how long is it ok to use before it needs to be
unpacked again? I want to unpack 10 tapes before a road trip on my home
deck and not have to do it on the M1 if at all possible. Thoughts,
opinions?
thanks, scott

Hey, looking to dust off your decks after a long uneventful winter?
There's a great local jazz band called the Stuart Wylen Trio who I've come
to befriend and the guys are VERY open to audience recording of their shows.
They're even cool with setting your mics up on stage so these recordings are
coming out great. If you think you might be interested, check out their
website at http://www.stuartwylentrio.com and see when & where they're
playing. If you want to hear them first, e-mail me & I'll hook you up with
copies; no trade necessary. I'm not making any $$ or anything like that
whatsoever, just on to a good thing and would like to get this great music
heard by those who will appreciate it. Hope to see you at the shows, Chris

Looking to unload the following dats. PLEASE NOTE! These are not reject
tapes or defective in any way, shape or form. All are top notch sound. Most
are FOB audience recordings, the rest are digital soundboards or digital
FMs.
There are 15 shows here. I've broken them down in 4 groups with 3 dats in
each group. I'd prefer not to mix and match if possible. Please note that
group 3 is actually 3 Don Byron Quartet gigs that have Bill Frisell playing
guitar.
I'm looking for mostly Frisell, Miles, Coltrane, Metheny, etc. on CD-R.
Sorry about the length, just trying to be thorough.
Thanks!

Hi all,
I was curious if anyone knows Bill Frisells official taping policy. He isnt
on BTAT, but I have some aud recordings of some relatively recent shows. He
is about to tour on the east coast with Viktor Krauss and Kenny Wollesen.
Ill be at the tour opener in Asheville, so if any one is going w/ some nice
mics let me know and if anyone else tapes him anywhere, Id be up for a trade
of some sorts. The tour info can be found at
https://www.songtone.com/artists/frisell_link.htm
Enjoy,
Mark

Does anyone know the name/model# of this microphone?
"The B-52's show was recorded with a very odd microphone that was supposed to
be shaped like a human head! I am not sure what this mic was called but it
seems that it was all the rage in high end taping circles in the '70's."

Bruce Cockburn Buskirk-Chumley Theatre Bloomington, IN, May 6, 2000
I got a setlist cover for it in my textfiles folder but no show to back it up.
Second, does anybody out there have any clean soundboards of Hank 3?
We know he is taper friendly but have not been able to connect with any of

Date: Wed, 20 Feb 2002 07:33:46 -0800 (PST)
hey there, i'm working on a post-matrix of dr. didg from an
onstage MBHO source and a SBD source, the problem i'm having is
that the two sources are ever so slightly differnt length, every
20 minutes they are 20 msec different, probably due to motor
variations or something. i'm using cool edit pro to do the edits
and the time stretch transform that's built into it doesn't have
the resolution i need - it rounds to 3 digits or so and i need
like 6 to get the length corrected. does anybody know of
software to change the length of a file with high precision?
i've been looking into plugins but they are less precice than
cooledit so i'll probably have to use a different package or
something...any hints? thanks, Nick

Date: Wed, 20 Feb 2002 13:31:57 EST
Hey all,
I have been asked by inquiring minds some questions that I don't know the
answer to because I have a standalone cd burner and a R500 home dat deck.
The question is : Say I have a D8 and the tape is all one track (I know I can
track it live, but don't have access to it cause I am not in the pit). Is
there software out there that lets me track it when I throw the Dat onto my
hard drive as a wave file, or is it gonna get thrown on there as one long
track? I need to be able to track it somehow other than the deck itself. Can
somebody point me in the right direction here?
Thanks.
BWTax - first person in my mailbox with "Live long and Prosper" in the
subject line gets Dat of Robert Randolf 2/19/02 Iowa City, IA, which kicked
some serious ASS!!

Hey all...
I'll ask this of the brain trust...
I'm looking for a replacement drive for my Tascam CD-RW 700. Spoke with
Teac (their label is on the drive) this morning and they want $241.00. As
I look at this thing, it appears to be an IDE drive. Can I just install
any IDE drive or must it be the Teac part. (model # CD-W54E-A90-U, part #

Thanks for the wisdom!
