This standalone unit is in mint condition and has been a workhorse for me on
the road and in the studio. I am a touring engineer and my clients and I
have been extremely happy with its performance. Audio is stored on an
internal hardrive (16bit, 44.1k) from which you can later burn mutiple
copies. Also has digital (s/pdif) I/O for DAT interface. Stores up to 240
minutes of stereo audio. 2RU with rack ears. Intuitive soft keys let you
easily navigate through menus. From front of house I usually ran a pair of
mics mixed with a soundboard feed, offset with a delay for coherence which
produced outstanding results.

I bought these in late November of this year from Cascade Media for $100. I am
looking to get $80 and I'll pay the shipping. The cans are in *mint* condition
and have only been used in non-show environments (ie hotel rooms or at home). I
also have the the soft carrying case that came with them. The only reason I am
looking to sell them is to upgrade to some high-end Senns.

Hi all...
I thought some on this list may enjoy this article.
John Francis ``Jack'' Cullen, a madcap disc jockey who
befriended Bob Hope and was blacklisted by Frank
Sinatra for a bootleg recording, died Saturday. He was
80.
Cullen was best known during five decades at CKNW as
host of the late show ``Owl Prowl.'' A nostalgia act
in his last years, Cullen was taken off the air in a
shake-up at CKNW in 1999.
A Vancouver native, Cullen served in the navy as a
wireless operator in World War II and was hired at
CKNW in 1949.Cullen interviewed virtually every
entertainer who came to town, becoming friends with
Hope, Sammy Davis Jr. and Henry Mancini.
He surreptitiously taped performances by Harry
Belafonte, the Beatles and Sinatra to play on his
show.
In 1957 he hid under the stage with a tape recorder
hooked up to Sinatra's microphone, disc jockey Red
Robinson said.
``For that, he was chastised and blackballed by the
American Federation of Musicians,'' Robinson said.
``That's why Frank would never do an interview with
him,'' he said.
However, Louis Armstrong was so charmed by Cullen that
the jazz trumpeteer authorized the official release of
a bootleg recording Cullen made of him in 1951.
