I have a basically brand new, Sony D8 for sale. This is the second one,
which I used about 15 hours in the last month, but just a tascam, so no
longer have need for it. I will also include a core-sound 7-pin cable,
which will get you started in the patching world. I will take the best
offer. Payment is by overnight money order, and shippingis via overnight.
The cost will be whatever 15 dollars, and if it is more I will cover the
rest. Quickest responses get priority, also if anyone has a da-p1 battery
system lying around they no longer need, include that in the offfer.

Subject: Mixer/Delay for Sbd/Aud Recording
Date: Mon, 06 May 2002 23:13:22 -0700
I'm looking for some recommendations on a mixer and delay for mixing a
Sbd feed with my KM140's. My audience rig is typically KM140's>SD
MP-2>SBM-1>DAT. AC power should always be available, so DC power option
not mandatory. Relatively portable would be nice to keep the overall
quantity of gear I have to lug around fairly reasonable- rack-mountable
could work if necessary. I assume there's a sizable price range on this
stuff - I'm interested in feedback on options vs. price, pros and cons
of various gear etc.
Thanks for any input folks can offer.

I went to see Michelle Shocked last night, the 1st show of this tour, & She
ROCKED!!! If you have not seen her in some time, it was really a treat. They
played for 2hrs & 12min. non-stop. It is definitely worth checking out. Taping
is absolutely STEALTH, Her husband is her tour manager, however he also plays
on some of the songs, so there is no one actually looking once the show
starts. If anyone tapes any of these shows, I would love to hear them, last
nights show sounds GREAT!!!!

for any of the usual suspects in return, including other recent TL shows (as

Subject: For Trade: CoreSounds Cardiod Mics
Date: Tue, 07 May 2002 15:57:00 -0400
I'm looking to trade mics with someone. I have a pair of CoreSound Cardioid
mics that have seen limited use (3 shows in 18 months.) They have been well
taken care of kept in a ziplock bag and a sunglass case. This is the
battery box model with no bass-rolloff. They have the black clips at 90
degrees to the capsule. (http://www.core-sound.com/cardioid.html)
I'm looking to trade for CoreSounds Binaural mics
(http://www.core-sound.com/mics.html). Not the low cost version and not the
high end version.
For those who don't know the cardioid mics are directional mics that will
make a better recording in large rooms and in places where you want to
reject sound from behind you. Some may be curious to my reasoning...I want
to try my hand at true binaural recording.
Alternatively, I'm willing to sell the CSCs for $200 OBO but I'd prefer a
trade.
Peace and Panic.
