Date: Sat, 22 Jun 2002 23:13:00 -0400 I'm on the hunt for any excellent quality live SUM 41 shows.....I've got tons to trade! Please respond to: livestuff@aol.com Chow! ------------------------------ From: Dave C Subject: To edit or not to edit? Date: Sat, 22 Jun 2002 20:49:15 -0700 Since I've got only a single M1, I'm trading only on CD-R. Once again, I find myself with an 81-minute performance. Last time, it was 83 minutes. What is the general consensus on editing or time-squeezing (sample dropping/interpolating with Cool Edit) applause and other non-music sections? It's frustrating to have to use 2% of a second CD. If I shorten it by invisible trickery, it's no longer a true impression of the live performance. But neither is changing the CD in the stereo. Thanks.... ------------------------------ From: Richard Davis Subject: good seller Date: Sat, 22 Jun 2002 20:56:36 -0700 (PDT) namaste y'all.... just wanted to give a shout out to Frank from Canada: >From: >Subject: FS: Sonic Studios DSM-6SL + PA-6LC3B >Date: Fri, 21 Jun 2002 10:14:10 -0400 >FS: Sonic Studios DSM-6SL + PA-6LC3B >Just bought these mics and bass roll off 2 months >ago. >frank - release@rogers.com. 550$ U.S includes >shipping >anywhere in the Statesor Canada. LOKING FOR GRISMANS SHOW AT THE GATHERING IN 2000, ------------------------------ From: digitalman01@earthlink.net Subject: TRADE: my Casio Pocket PC for your Sony SBM-1 Date: Sun, 23 Jun 2002 10:47:20 -0400 Hey All: Here is the deal. I bought more than I needed. I have one brand new, unopened Casio E-125 Pocket PC. It runs the Windows Pocket PC operating system. It has a full color display and it has 32 MB of memory. It includes all originally supplied material including: Microsoft Outlook 2000, Pocket Word, Pocket Excel, Active Sync software, USB sync cradle and carrying case. It is a huge leap beyond the Palm Pilot. When I got them, the cost was over $500 each. This one is still factory sealed. I got more than one and never used this one. I still use these myself and they are great. You can use it to save your email and contact info or even web pages to view later. It is compatible with type I and type II compact flash cards and devices so you could even use this wirelessly with a wireless CF card. I would like to make an even trade for a Sony SBM-1. Please contact me if you are interested. Email me with any questions you might have. Thank you. peace, Sean ------------------------------ From: "drkstr" Subject: ISO: (1) Nak CP-4 Shotgun Capsule Date: Mon, 23 Jun 2003 08:03:46 -0700 Hey Now fellow DH's: A taping buddy and myself are searching for a single Nak CP-4 Shotgun cap to complete the set. A PCM-1 draws about 200 while recording. I think D7/8's draw about twice that (don't know about Tascams, etc.). I've seen surplus solar panels at the local electronics store that are about 2 ft^2 and deliver like 4 amps at 12V. You'd probably get the power you need and a cheaper overall price by rolling your own. Maybe you could use the panel as some kind of boundary mic. That'd be slick. --=20 Wayne D.
