I think this is true. The beauty of EAC is being able to compensate for less
than accurate hardware (to an extent).
This is true only if you run it in Secure mode. In burst mode, it relies
completely on your hardware being accurate.

nauseating.
As we can see,Bill aka Steve aka Katie aka Sadie Mae
Glutz aka Charles Manson.Ok,you get the point....is
now posting just signing off as "Bill".
Well Bill's recovered.Good for him! No to mention
people (unawares/newbies) have figured his ridiculous
scheme out & have not been buying (literally and
figuratively) into it,so "he" or 'they" have backed
off on the "SYBIL" ploy.

Also,via the website I am posting...enter in as many
of his alias emails posted on this site,on the GOOGLE
SEARCH and you would not believe how obvious his
pattern is.

But new and unsuspecting traders and fans who buy from
him,never get anything back. The Bill Levy character
will suck in fake trades and sales for a month or
2,all the while telling the person on the other end
that his shipping date will be 3-4 weeks or something
to that effect,so as to make as much use out
of this email address...until he rips of as many
dollars and tapes as he can...and poof,the address is
gone.

Many trustworthy traders do send their end of the deal
first to this psycho,unfortunately.

His recent post to alt.music.bootlegs includes WHO
material. 

He had posted to alt.music.who a few days ago,and I
also posted the warning here about him.

Stay away....FAR away!

THE WEBSITE with this lunatics past history.Please
bookmark is as a reference.I heard he still uses some
of these believe it or not.

combination with mic capsules (eg, AKG, Neumann) and active cables, but
which replaces the mic bodies and phantom power.  It may replace a preamp
too; can't recall for sure.  It sells for around $800 IIRC and is made by
a small (one-man?) shop.  Does this ring a bell for anyone?  Thanks much.

    A while back I offered an extra tape I spun up for trade or BnP.  I got
two responses ... I sent the extra tape to the first and made another copy
for Eric who I set up a trade with.

    So six months later I still have not gotten a tape from him ( a tape
which was supposedly finished a few days after we set up the trade and was
just laying around waiting to be mailed ) ...
After not receiving the tape from him I sent him a few e-mails, nothing
nasty, the first few I only asked him if he had received the tape I sent
him, hoping for a yeah I did, thanks, sorry for the delay with yours but I
just mailed it out so you should get it soon ....

    wishful thinking right?

    He finally responded once to the numerous e-mails I sent him with some
story about how his girlfriend just had a baby and the tape was finished and
sitting on his dresser he would mail it out on Wednesday ... so unless it
got lost in the mail he never sent it as it would have taken the pony
express less than six months to get it here ....

    convenient that he stopped answering my e-mails as well.

    This was the first time I had ever TRADED with this DICK ... I had done
a few BnPs FOR him in the past either from offers I made or from trees ....
he was always prompt in getting the media to me then, so he could get his
shows.

    And I understand life can be hectic we all have to deal with it ... but
don't give me some bullshit excuse ... I imagine he just found out his
girlfriend got pregnant the day before we set up the trade ... and then
popped it out a few days later.

    Hey Eric ... my apologies if you are dead, in the clink, or managed to
flush yourself down a toilet ... otherwise you are just a DICK!
