You won't regret seeing this band (at least I think so). While I don't think the band mind taping, I'm going to guess these will have to be stealthed. Source and generation information is essential. Have plenty of Floyd and Waters - excellent and rare low-gens, and a bunch of RW DAT masters from 99-00. Still need plenty of Waters from 2002. And Floyd DAUDs from 94 - have a couple dozen on DAT, but I'm never satisfied. Don't have as much Radiohead, but what I do have is quality. Looking to get much more. Conscientious traders only, with two dat decks and a digital cable to connect 'em ; ) Also looking for the recent Jeff Beck gigs where Roger guested for a couple of songs. I have a list in microsoft excel format, so if you wanna see it, send me yours. Thanks in advance! ------------------------------ From: "DRider" Subject: Other Ones Taping Date: Thu, 19 Sep 2002 18:45:22 -0400 This post came in today from GDTSTOO.... ....the offshoot organization that so many tout as the pioneers of the TAPER FRIENDLY perspective........... Personally, I believe that title goes to the Allman Brothers Band and NO offshoot, post-DEAD / post-Dan Healy Dead related band......... "GA shows.........Taping gear cannot be brought in with a reserved seat ticket." Read on and be prepared............. Subject: [GDTSTOO] Heads up tapers. We will have a few announcements to share with you before we get the green light to launch mail order for the Other Ones' tour. This is the first one: It has become necessary to reiterate the conditions for taping at shows: TAPING AT ALL SHOWS IS ONLY AUTHORIZED IN SPECIFIC TAPER SECTIONS. Taping is a privilege. Not a right. Reserved seating shows: You will need a reserved seat taper ticket. Taping gear can only be brought in with a specific taper ticket, which can only be obtained through GDTSTOO. Max is 2 tickets per show per person. GA shows; mixed venues with both reserved seating and GA, or venues with a lawn: The taper section will always be in the general admission part of a venue, or on the lawn. No specific taper ticket will be needed. Taping gear cannot be brought in with a reserved seat ticket. Wherever possible a special door will be available for taper entrance. If you arrive without the proper ticket for taping, you will be given the choice of bringing your gear back to your car or forfeit the show. If tapers are sighted in the venue setting up outside the taping area they will again be given this same choice.
