This is their first real US tour in 15 years. If anyone is planning on
taping any of these shows, please get in touch. You won't regret seeing
this band (at least I think so). While I don't think the band mind
taping, I'm going to guess these will have to be stealthed. Here are the
dates:
September 28th Atlanta Echo Lounge
September 29th Atlanta (semi-acoustic)
October 1st Washington DC The Black Cat -
October 2nd New York Knitting Factory 8:00 p.m (semi-acoustic)
October 2nd New York Knitting Factory 11.00 p.m. Full show
October 4th Brooklyn - South Paw
October 5th Maxwell's New Jersey
October 6th Boston - Middle East Cafe
October 7th Montreal Club Soda
October 8th Montreal Club Soda
October 9th Toronto Phoenix
October 12th Buffalo The Continental
October 13th Rochester - Water Street Music Hall
October 14th Chicago Metro -
October 15th Seattle The Showbox
October 16th San Francisco Great American Music Hall (semi-acoustic set)
October 18th San Francisco Great American Music Hall
October 20th Santa Ana Galaxy
October 21st LA The Knitting Factory
October 22nd LA The Knitting Factory
October 23rd San Diego Canes
October 24th Long Beach Que Sera (semi acoustic set)
Thanks!

I asked a friend to do this for me, and she said it was in real media format
and unsure of how to capture it.
Any help would be appreciated. I'd like to see this made into a VCD if
possible.
Let me know if you have any ideas.

Hey,
Looking for the above mentioned artists on DAT. Source
and generation information is essential. Have plenty
of Floyd and Waters - excellent and rare low-gens,
and a bunch of RW DAT masters from 99-00.
Still need plenty of Waters from 2002. And Floyd
DAUDs from 94 - have a couple dozen on DAT,
but I'm never satisfied.
Don't have as much Radiohead, but what I do have
is quality. Looking to get much more.
Conscientious traders only, with two dat decks and
a digital cable to connect 'em ; )
Also looking for the recent Jeff Beck gigs where Roger
guested for a couple of songs.
I have a list in microsoft excel format, so if you wanna see it,
send me yours.
Best,
Anthony

have any of you attempted a sbd patch at jamgrass??
i did the only complete dat sbd pull of jamgrass at alpine valley, and
found them to be very open about giving out the patch. the level that they
fed for the first couple bands was kinda low, but was compensated by running
a higher recording level. by the time rowan and friends came out,, the
level they were feeding was running just about right. when i asked the
soundmen from the various bands about if it was okay to send a coax feed to
other decks, they were happy to see sbds get out.
the tapes sound great, it was nice to see rowan sitting in with the dark
star acoustic set and playing some tunes that he did on old n in the way.
twas a great night of music ~~

Subject: Other Ones Taping
Date: Thu, 19 Sep 2002 18:45:22 -0400
This post came in today from GDTSTOO....
....the offshoot organization that so many tout as the pioneers
of the TAPER FRIENDLY perspective...........
Personally, I believe that title goes to the Allman Brothers Band
and NO offshoot, post-DEAD / post-Dan Healy Dead related band.........
<snip>
"GA shows.........Taping gear
cannot be brought in with a reserved seat ticket."
Read on and be prepared.............
Subject: [GDTSTOO] Heads up tapers.
We will have a few announcements to share with you
before we get the green light to launch mail order for
the Other Ones' tour. This is the first one:
It has become necessary to reiterate the conditions for
taping at shows:
TAPING AT ALL SHOWS IS ONLY AUTHORIZED IN
SPECIFIC TAPER SECTIONS.
Taping is a privilege. Not a right.
Reserved seating shows:
You will need a reserved seat taper ticket.
Taping gear can only be brought in with a specific
taper ticket, which can only be obtained through
GDTSTOO. Max is 2 tickets per show per person.
GA shows; mixed venues with both reserved seating
and GA, or venues with a lawn:
The taper section will always be in the general
admission part of a venue, or on the lawn.
No specific taper ticket will be needed. Taping gear
cannot be brought in with a reserved seat ticket.
Wherever possible a special door will be available for taper
entrance. If you arrive without the proper ticket for taping,
you will be given the choice of bringing your gear back to
your car or forfeit the show. If tapers are sighted in the
venue setting up outside the taping area they will again be
given this same choice.
