I am getting sick (and poor) from buying 9volts for this puppy for every show. Thanks Greg ------------------------------ From: Jeff Anderson Subject: Harvest Moon Fest @ The Well *Austin, TX* Date: Thu, 17 Oct 2002 14:58:40 -0500 Alright Folks, Very sorry about the delay on getting this all together....The finally awaited website/ticketing is NOW available for the Harvest Moon Fest at the Well (www.bluefishent.com), taking place just outside of Austin in Wimberley, TX at Jacob's Well (www.dancingwatersinn.com) on Saturday, November 9th! Please take a look at the website. This party is going to go down in the history books. Just a quick overview, the bands include, The Gourds, Two High String Band, South Austin Jug Band, Cooper's Uncle, Cuttin' The Grass, Sharon Bousquet and.....?....The bands will be camping with us and ready to pick all night long. There will be designated bonfires to keep your pickin' fingers warm. Also, one key component to all of this, is that it is BYOB! So, since your camping, not driving, and not having to spend $5 on each drink, I expect to see most of you in RARE form!....I hope ALL of you can make it. YEEEEEHAAAWWWWW!!!!!!! Reply-To: "Tom Morrison" Date: Thu, 17 Oct 2002 19:55:06 -0400 I built one of these (well, I should say, I bought the parts, and got a lab tech to build for a couple 6 packs)....its portable (runs on a small 9volt battery) and has coaxial I/O (there is some way to get this to run optical, but I've lost the schematic)... I do NOT need anymore...so if someone wants a portable SCMS buster...this is the box... t ------------------------------ From: Comnaround@aol.com Subject: Tom Petty 10/15 Pre-FM Offer Date: Thu, 17 Oct 2002 20:29:49 EDT I will do a few b&ps but would love some trades. This is a clone from the master recorded at my station WKLR in Richmond, VA. There was a ISDN failure towards the end resulting in about a loss of 20-30 seconds of the last song which was You Wreck Me. I heard that this was the case everywhere and would be on all Pre-FMs and all versions recorded over the air. Does anyone get an audience or a clean version of the last song? This is a DAT only offer. Please send lists. Looking for any recent Springsteen,Stones,Jerry Joseph And The Jackmormons or NRBQ that I do not have. Lykos" Subject: FS: Graham Patten ADC-20 Date: Thu, 17 Oct 2002 22:08:36 -0400 Hello, I am selling a Graham Patten ADC-20. It is a 20-bit A/D converter and sounds really nice. I have the 44.1 version (perfect if you transfer your DATs onto CD) and it outputs a consumer signal so it can be used with any kind of portable DAT deck. Asking $300 o.b.o. Please e-mail back if interested. --Jamie Lykos jlykos@nc.rr.com ------------------------------ From: "Darren" Subject: Scott Greenbaum: DATs for sale Reply-To: dnemeth01@sprynet.com Date: Fri, 18 Oct 2002 01:52:27 -0400 > DATs for sale - $1 each ("Scott Greenbaum") > > Scott, I am very interested in your $1 DAT list. I will pay for your ticket, travel expenses, etc. in exchange for taping any of these shows for me. I will also add extra incentive for taping these shows as well. Please e-mail me for more details.
