FYI, a GA ticket is all that is needed for Roanoke tapers. It was to
GDTSTOO's suprise that they came across tickets with tapers printed on
them. they intend to alert the house that a GA floor ticket is all thats
needed for tapers, so not to worry.

Greetings all, I'm looking for sources to purchase an ORTF/XY mic mount.
The only two that I've been able to find are the Neumann mount (ds-120) and
one made by Wes Dooley. $250-275 seems a bit high to spend on this simple
item, I'm hoping that I can find a cheaper alternative. BTW, I'm using a
pair of Neumann KM-184s if it matters.

this show. One of my favs and thinking of it on its four year anniversary
and how it seems to have gone unnoticed. Thanks to Charlie Gubman I have a
cmc641>v2>p1 source from the section, but would be very interested in
hearing your FOB tape. I've seen a km140 fob in db.etree but haven't been
able to contact its owner. Any help in this little project would be greatly
appreciated.

I have used my SoundBlaster Live! (with SP/DIF in/out - this is one of the
first SBLive! cards that Creative Labs produces, still only 2 channel
stereo, but equiped with a 2nd connector holder with - coaxial - SP/DIF and
Midi in/out connections) for this purpose for years to good result.
Currently you would need to buy a SoundBlaster Audigy 2 to get the
possibility to directly connect your DAT digitally to your PC.

i am thinking of parting with my aerco mp2. for those of you who have never
heard of the mp2, here are some links fom datheads archives about them. i
have had mine for about 2 years, and love it! VERY stealthable, great
sound.
my model has the gain upgrade (with fairly large locking knobs) that go from
0-50db in 10db steps. 48v phantom, xlr in, rca and 1/8 out. runs for about
4-5hours on internal 9volts or external 7-20vdc... in the datheads archives,
this kicked butt over the beyer and sbm1 pre's
