You have a couple of choices for Monitors. You can leave a second soundcard in for playback, and use sme cmputer speakers with a mini-plug for you audio out. I did something different. The Delta Dio has a right and left audio out RCA jack. I got an older Sony RX69ES reciever off of eBay for $65. I run the Analog Outputs of the Delta Dio into the Sony RX69ES then I have a pair of JBL N26 6 1/2" 2 way speakers next to my monitor, they are shielded speakers. Nw I can listen to the audio from my computer through my speakers. I have my main stereo in the same room, with Klipsch Cornwalls, and I have the Tape Out's from the older ES reciever going to the reciever driving the Klipsch's, so I can really hear what I'm working on.
