Walking out of the show I gave him a 90 M and he promised me a copy. I followed up with a few e-mails and was again promised a copy "when he could". That was back in August and still no 8/10 from this source. I do have a ST Louis 4021 source that could be from this set up but thats all I know. That being said there are a bunch of great recordings going around from this tour. If anyone here has the 4021 FOB from 8/10 I've got many Springsteens from 2002 shows to offer with full source info and tons of the older stuff that you don't see around much. This place is inside the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas and isn't it where the Who were supposed to open their tour? Anyway, i was wondering if anyone has taped there and can offer seating advice. I had great luck with stealth taping at the Hilton in Vegas this past summer, but of course the drunken, loud audience is really the issue. Any hints on where to be in this place would be helpful, even if it's just to tell me whether the PA hangs from the ceiling or not. Just got back from my first show at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. Fantastic venue. No security at all. 4 tiers of balconies and a suspended PA that sounds great even in the dead spots of the hall. While it's still a Stealth venue, I believe one could easily get some moderately large equipment in. I'd even think that a front row 4th tier on the side would get a worthy tape. Most of the Fall shows are over now, but keep that in mind, should anyone be considering the venue in the future. It is having a power problem. When I have it on with no tape in it, it will stay on, but when I insert a tape and close the lid it starts to load the tape and then stops, turns off and turns back on again and keeps doing that until I eject the tape and then it stays on with no problem, it just won't stay powered up with a tape in it. I haven't tried with AC power as I don't have an adapter for it yet, but I assume it will do the same thing. I believe this unit qualifies for the Sony flat rate repair, but I wanted to see of anyone has experienced this before I send it in. Thanks.
