Plan on taping Sat. night and getting my gear ready & here my battery
pack for my D-7 is all broken..Don't know what happened to it but it is
all bent & cracked...it is the small one that holds the 4 AA batteries
that goes into the deck..is there anyother way to power the deck...i
remember at one time someone used D batteries in a battery pack &
plugged it into the DC in on their D-7..i never had the chance to ask
him how he made it??? anyone help me out with any ideas..

Last saturday was my first Dylan show and I would love to get a copy for myself and my brother who accompanied me. I have lots to trade on CD and DAT i can send a list. Also if anyone has the Allman Brothers from the tweeter center this summer, i would love to get that as well.

A friend of mine (and fellow DAT taper) is going to the Bruce Sprigsteen concert at the arena on Saturday. The arena has installed walk-through metal
detectors. Has anyone had any luck getting their gear into the arena? Any suggestions would be most welcome.

About a month ago in a DAT head digest a link was given for a site that was
selling bulk orders of our favorite envelope -- The #0 manila bubble, self
adhesive envelope. It was some rediculous good price, like 100 for $5.00,
and i should have bookmarked that site, but didn't.
I have searched the archive, and no luck finding it, and searching google, i
find some bulk sites, but nothing with that great of a price as that other
place.
Any help?

I was at the close out sale for the local Mars Music this week & bought
one new-in-the-box DA-P1 for $1,050.00 (poor thing looked lonely and
in need of a good home... ;) ) but I can't afford to keep it.
Original carton, foam, & such. Includes the internal battery, shoulder
strap, &
wall power supply, but is missing the manual. (shouldn't be too hard to find
one
of those... ;) )
I've run a few tapes in and out, done test tones & such, and all seems to be
in perfect
order.
I'm letting it go for at $1,100 (which should cover shipping, delivery
confirmation,
& insurance)
