I'd like to see it, but Steve Jobs is a visually-oriented person. Basic audio editing on the Mac has always been a struggle with the high-priced solutions from Digidesign, MOTU, Bias, and Emagic. If anyone comes up with a two track editor as elegant as iTunes, I'd sell at least two of my peecees. Sound Designs finally did release OS X drivers for my USB Pre, so I suppose there's hope, even if I have become somewhat fond of XP Pro... ------------------------------ From: ADunn81878@aol.com Subject: FS: NAKAMICHI Date: Wed, 27 Nov 2002 20:46:50 EST I am selling my Nakamichi setup: BEST OFFER GETS THEM! * 3 piece Nakamichi CM300 set: 3-mics, 3-cp1 capsules, 3-cp2 capsules, 3 windscreens, & case * 2-cp4 capsules (not original windscreens, both are Windtech SG-2) * MX100 Mixer modified with 9.6 volt NiMH rechargeable battery w/ charger for portable. I was going to go see The Blasters a few weeks ago, but I was sick. They always rip when I've seen them. So do Dave and Phil with their own bands. Well, the OS X driver for the U2A/U24 was just released last week and it works like a charm on my machine. Surprised to hear that they don't plan on supporting that particular card...too bad it doesn't help with the AES/EBU but if they're supporting one, there's always hope... --Dave ------------------------------ From: "alf" Subject: Iso: Slip info Date: Thu, 28 Nov 2002 07:18:14 +0100 I received many months ago one dat of SLIP 10/19/1999 @ Q Bar, Iowa City (DSDB) Now, after cloned into CD I was looking to find setlist, but it seems this date doesn't exist.
