KPIG (107.5 fm) is broadcasting the Robert Earl Keen / Dudes (formerly subdudes) show on Saturday, Dec. 7 beginning at about 9 p.m. I think the Dudes go on first - and if it's a full set, they usually play 130-140 minutes. Not sure about Keen. I'd love to hook up with someone who can trade a DAT of the show. Needless to say, I'm looking for a DAT from the FM broadcast, not from the webcast! Many thanks, Richard Russell New Orleans www.thedudesnews.com ------------------------------ From: "Gabe C" Subject: ISO: Paul McCartney 5-04-02 Date: Wed, 4 Dec 2002 17:52:58 -0800 SSIA Gabe www.phishhook.com/lists/lyinrgrvs ------------------------------ From: "=?iso-8859-1?q?Mal=20B...?=" Subject: FT: Peter Gabriel 2002 Radio show Date: Thu, 5 Dec 2002 03:28:17 +0100 (CET) I have perfect Peter Gabriel show from recent french radio broadcast. I'd say, just pick the speed/price you want and go for it. -- Mark Mayhle mark@mayhle.com ------------------------------ From: "Jamie Lutch" Subject: ISO: 1 ticket to greyboy allstars on 12/27 Date: Wed, 4 Dec 2002 23:39:01 -0800 I lagged and missed my chance to get a ticket. If anyone has an extra, I can offer cds of the show after the fact. Latency is not a major issue, output only needed. Has anyone use the Edirol UA-1D which seems to offer this facility, or is there an obvious alternative? This device seems about half the cost of a digital soundcard. Any comments welcome (well at least those relating to this question....) ==John ffitch ------------------------------ From: "Wayne D. Date: Thu, 5 Dec 2002 06:41:49 -0800 Does anybody know if the CMI9739 audio chipset is capable of performing bit-for-bit perfect transfers? I'm guessing that this is a revision of the CMI8738 chipset used in the Zoltrix and other cards that are up to the task. I've poked around the C-Media site and some hardware review sites but I have yet to find an answer. I was hoping that somebody here has used a piece of hardware with this chipset and can provide me with some input. Date: Thu, 5 Dec 2002 18:36:51 +0100 (MET) Hi all, went to see Danzig the other night here in Munich...Great, great show! Highlight was to see Glenn Danzig come down to the audience and suddenly he was in a fight with a "fan"...the band stopped "Am I demon" when they got what was happening down there. Man, what an impressing and scary sight to see this muscle man climb back on stage and start yelling and screaming at this punk "to get the fuck out of here"...For a second I thought they'd stop the show here, but they played even better and more intense and Glenn looked even more scary after all this.. Unfortunately my recording stops about 30 minutes into the show because of one battery dying....What a drag, really.... Anyone with a great recording of any of the 2002 Danzig shows or good older stuff?? Best, Karsten -- +++ GMX - Mail, Messaging & more http://www.gmx.net +++ NEU: Mit GMX ins Internet.
