I'm looking for something (hopefully region free for foreign DVDs) that will play DVD, CD-R, DVD-R, VCD, and be as stable as possible. I've had a unit for two years and don't even rent DVDs anymore because there's almost always a goofy spot. Thanks for any help, Rick _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam? Like how long their show runs this time around? About what time I can expect them to take the stage? Is there another act that plays before the Goo Goo Dolls? How long the Goo Goo Dolls perform as well? Please email me if you can help or have any suggestions. Thanks all. _________________________________________________________________ STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail ------------------------------ From: pwking Subject: batch of pre-recorded DATs available for B&P value Date: Sat, 15 Feb 2003 05:10:22 -0800 (PST) hi everybody -- i'm cleaning house, and i'd like to find a home for a few DATs that i've uploaded and archived to shorten. in a move that i hope isn't too controversial, i'm not accepting b&p for these, rather i'd like to receive the amount you'd pay for these DATs as if they were blank and brand new. more on this below. before i explain further, here's what's on the 10 DATs: 60 Meter tapes: PFunk All-Stars 7-23-99 Woodstock '99 pay-per-view feed The Church 10-9-98 Tramps, NYC csb > m1 Robert Randolph & Family Band 5-11-01 Loft Party sbd 90 Meter tapes: Sam Bush & Friends 5-1-99 Merlefest ??? source Jane's Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers 7-29-02 Fuji Rock Festival Japan sanken daud John Medeski / Marshall Allen 7-18-00 Tonic, NYC schoeps mk4 3-7-99 Medeski / Moses / Munoz Middle East, Cambridge MA schoeps mk4 9-30-00 Marisa Monte + Arto Lindsay Beacon Theater, NYC schoeps mk4 3-29-98 MMW / Bill Frisell Masonic Auditorium, SF CA schoeps mk4 5-11-01 Robert Randolph, Medeski, Ribot, Trischka, et al loft party, NYC sbd all of these are excellent tapes (data grade, mostly maxell & sony), free of dropouts, etc. a fine start to a newbie's collection... now, as for the value. american digital (www.am-dig.com) sells 10 packs of maxells for $2.19 & 60 and 90 M, respectively, so, 10 x $2.19 = 21.90. Add to that whatever it'll cost to ship the tapes to you, and these DATs are all yours. with this payback money i'm just going to be buying into a CDr spindle... i swear i'm not financing al qaeda or anything foul, so please don't flame me! i am completely open to negotiation if anybody thinks this is 'fuzzy math' or i'm trying to pull a fast one... i'm not, again, just cleaning house. drop me a line if you're interested in this deal ... first respondent who promises to get a check out to me quickly wins. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
