I had no idea they were going to air the Springstein concert last night
(live) on 92.9 in Atlanta. Heard it on the way home from dinner - did
anybody happen to tape it? I would like to trade for a copy if so.
Thanks

Hey Mark,
While I can't say what Chris' official policy is, I can say that I know
someone personally who was busted for video taping him in Rochester, NY
last summer. It wasn't any major thing but they did make him shut down.
This was a free outdoor show too. Overall though, Chris is more than
cool about taping. At another free outdoor show that Duarte played, I
was hassled at the end by the promoter (of all people) and he called the
cops over to say that I was a "bootlegger." Chris happened to be
signing autographs nearby and ended up telling the cop and promoter that
he allows recording. Definitely cool about audio! Not so sure about video.
Peace,
Sean

Duke Robillard must have changed his policy. I was told he (at least his management) was against taping.
Larry McCray is pro-taper. James Montgomery doesn't mind either. As far as Buckwheat Zydeco goes, I was patched out of the board one time and his sound man knew it. Too bad the tape was worthless.

Hey folks,
I don't even know if A1 performed live, but I'm interested in any gigs 2000
and onwards, when they played "Same Old Brand New You" et al in concert. I
don't know if they were like Steps (ie, miming), but anything would be good.
This is one of the few boybands where the members participated in
songwriting, as well. Oh and ISO any live Steps other than the final concert
put to official DVD (wooh!)...
Loads to trade/offer, thanks.

To the best of my knowledge, DDS-2 tapes are 120meters and
should not, (except perhaps in emergencies) be used in DAT
recorders.

WYEP 91.3 will be broadcasting the Coldplay show in Pittsburgh this Sunday
(3/2). I would be interested in a copy if anyone can capture the full
broadcast on DAT. www.wyep.org for more info.

I am looking for a great tape of one or two shows of the current Link Wray
tour. Also, recent Pharoah Sanders shows. Thanks for your help. Tim
