been on a ticket buying binge lately - I'm now of the mindset that I will be
going to and taping as many of the bands that have given me great pleasure
over the years before I and they get too old to r&r....
does anyone have experience with recent security at the following venues:
Count Basie Theater in Red Bank NJ (John Prine on May 17)
Jones Beach ampitheater (Neil Young with the Horse in June)
State Theater in New Brunswick, NJ (possible B.B. King)
replies on or off....
Joe
recent recordings....
Kelly Joe Phelps at the Knitting Factory (with Zubot & Dawson - awesome
show - catch this acoustic blues master WHENEVER you can - I'll be heading
to Philly next Sunday to see him......PLEASE if anyone can record any of his
shows this tour by all means DO!)
King Crimson at Town Hall (2nd night, minor distortion for a bit of the
first song)

Got both sets last night in St, Louis. The Music played a 3 piece 25
minute acoustic set since their guitarist had to head back to England
due to an unfortunate death in the family. The Vines played around 55
insane minutes. :)

dear digest members,
marcus barnet of jacksonville, FL is indeed alive and yesterday, after a two
month runaround and a string of ignored emails, i received a package from
him. the contents of said package were incomplete and carelessly packed, but
at this point, that's neither here nor there.
point being, folks, that after my "bad trader" post about him, i received my
first email from marcus in a month, asking that i retract that post when i
got his package, which was suddenly and miraculously on the way! so here it
is.

Hi,
I'm looking for anyone who might be taping any of the current Bright Eyes
shows. Tour dates are below. They do allow taping and have allowed board
access in the past, but I'm not sure who to talk to about obtaining access.
They put on an amazing live show and are well worth checking out!
Please contact me off list if you are going and are taping. I will be taping
the Minneapolis show as I did last tour.

no longer use. All are in very good or better condition and shipping for
each is $4.00 USPS Priority Mail (unless you ask for something different)
1 pr XLR > RCA Spellcaster 3ft. great for going XLR out from pre to rca in
on dap1!
$150 pr
1 AES EBU I am not sure what level cable this is. I had it made in 95 or 96
before AES/EBU was a standard type item. The sheath is black
$45
1 RCA/RCA Presto (I think, its not marked) digital cable. very good
condition. the barrels don't match because I lost one at a show some where.

hey all,
i have some cables i no longer use, so someone on this list should!
1 pair 3' canare L-4E6S one red, one black. terminated with neutrik
NC3MX-HD-B heavy duty stainless steel male xlrs (not your average xlr
connector!) and canare F-10 male rcas. $35.00 includes priority mail
shipping.
1 pair .5 meter monster cable interlink reference 2 rca > rca $20.00
includes priority mail.
if you want both pair of cables, $50.00 shipped.
i also have a stealthy waist pack that is good for wearing all your gear if
you have to. it is a mountainsmith "tour" model i believe. it held a sv-255,
aerco mic pre and batteries with room to spare for smaller items. they
retail about $80.00, looking for $35.00.
thanks for the bw, thom
