From: "Mike Hooker" <mhooker@optonline.net> Subject: correction- joe jackson in NYC Date: Mon, 14 Apr 2003 09:20:36 -0400 hi, i just got the digest and saw a typo in my joe jackson for trade post. its 4-12-03, not 4-2-03 as i put in the subject line. orig post below.: hi, i taped joe jackson at the wausau in brooklyn last nite, rocking show and the tape is mint. i knew it would either be super good or super bad, as i was only 6 feet from ground level stacks, with a chewed up ticket stub in my left ear for protection. one slow solo piano song in the middle is truncated, i had to take a wicked leak due to too much polish beer. if you want to trade, drop me a line., thanks take at look at my music trading list ( new URL) http://hometown.aol.com/mhooker216/myhomepage/index.html have fun, Mike Hooker

From: David Minches <dminches@comcast.net> Subject: Egosys Waveterminal 2496 Question Date: Mon, 14 Apr 2003 10:57:50 -0400 I own one of these and have experienced a weird "problem." Sometimes, after rebooting my machine I notice that the channels are reversed. That is, if I have an analog or digital input to the card and either listen or record the signal I notice that the channels are reversed from the source. If I reboot the computer they usually reverse again. (Sometimes it takes 1 or 2 reboots to get them right.) Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas why this is happening? I am running Win 98 SE on an ABS 1.8 GHz AMD.

From: Keith Bode <t.tunakebo@verizon.net> Subject: ISO ABB Beacon Run DAT's Date: Mon, 14 Apr 2003 13:43:17 -0700 I woould like to get some of the ABB shows from last months Beacon run on DAT. I really would like to have DAT's duped off other DAT's, or if someone has masters they converted to CD and don't want, I would gladly take them. I don't have many DAT's, so I don't have much to trade. Also, I haven't updated my CD list in over 2 years, so it's probably more than triple the size it was. If you'd like something traded, if you let me know. I have no shows by newer jam bands. I will gladly B&P Sony DG90P tapes for what I can get. Shows I am particularly interested in are: 3-13,14,15,21,22,26,29+30. Thanks, Keith
From: "john crouch" <slouchiec@hotmail.com> Subject: FS: D8 and GrahamPatten ADC20 Date: Mon, 14 Apr 2003 14:02:42 -0700 I am helping a friend of mine sell his gear, he is selling so that he can upgrade his A>D. Both of these units are in excellent condition and sample tapes are available. I personally have used the ADC20 and really think it produces great tapes at an affordable price. Will sell both units separately but would prefer to sell them together. The ADC20 was purchased from Cascademedia one year ago, bot units are in exceptional shape. The D8 includes a coresound 7pin cable and the ADC20 will come with a battery cable for ecocharge style 6volt power supply. Please email me if interested or if you have any questions, this would be a great chance to get into taping at an affordable price!!! From: "Daniel J. Ennis" <djennis@yahoo.com> Subject: Quick D7 Question Date: Mon, 14 Apr 2003 17:44:44 -0700 (PDT) Hey folks. I am ecstatic because I finally got my D7-recorded goods from the deck digitally to my hard drive. (Thanks Dave! I'll be in touch with you soon. Thanks Len for another quality solution.) It sounds good. Here's the issue. I had a blank tape in my D7, which I had played forward for ten seconds so it was ready to go. I ended up not using it, and the deck sat in my living room from Friday night to Monday. I tried to take the unused blank out and it got caught. I couldn't get it out without breaking the tape. Is there anything I can do to prevent, or at least drastically reduce, the odds of this happening again, or of the tape just being snagged and destroyed in there while playing? Is there anything I can do to get a caught tape out without damaging it? The DAT's I have here have unbelievable personal value to me and others and I cannot have them eaten by the deck. It is a used D7, but it I have had no problems with it before this. Any suggestions are welcome as I would truly be heartbroken to lose this particular material. Thanks - Dan ===== It's hard to imagine, That nothing at all, Could be so exciting, Or this much fun. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! From: alles.kraft@t-online.de (McForce) Subject: oade.com Date: Tue, 15 Apr 2003 12:35:09 +0200 sorry for the bandwith... anyone ever shopped at www.oade.com (Oade Bros Audio Inc.)? I wonder what your experiences were? I ordered a sony 7pin-to-coax cable at the beginning of march (to be delivered to a friend with a US postal address).... nothing happened since then... they didn't react in any way (not debit my credit card, not respond to my mails... and I've sent them a few mails). I wonder what might be the problem.... regards, Kirsten -- Ein erfundenes Objekt erfreut, solange es die Seele kitzelt. Hans-Hendrik Adler www.traum-raum.de
