Hi,
When I turn on the backlight of my Sony D100 and hold the unit it close to
my ears I can hear a high tone. It stops when I turn the backlight off
again. Is this normal?
Thanks,
Joost

Hey there - wondering if anyone here has a solution to this problem:
A friend is a videographer who only has a mic-level input to her mini DV
cam. What (if anything) has anyone used to attenuate a line level board
feed down to mic level? =A0FWIW, we have tried two products already: a Radio
Shack attenuating cable (sold expressly for stepping down line level feeds
to video cam mic inputs) that provided NO signal whatsoever (in either
direction), and a pair of Shure attenuating XLR barrels that provided a
properly attenuated signal, but unfortunately also provided =A0a whopping hum
in the line. =A0
Her mic input works fine with my AT-822. What are we doing wrong here?
=A0
Thanks in advance for any enlightenment folks can offer - =A0

Hello All,
I have the following Dead (and related) dats up for grabs. These 13 shows
reside on 20 60m dats. I have converted these to cdr and am looking for
$1.75 per tape (or the equivalent amount in blank cdr's) plus $6 for UPS
shipping.
The tapes are either labelled maxell hs4's, or kao golds. The lineage is as
they
came to me at the time of the trade. First come, first served for this take
all
proposition. Thanks for the bw!

Hey All,
I Bought my first set of mics and my DA-P1 from the Oade Bros. I have
always had top notch service from them, and my questions have always
been answered with enthusiasm. I'm sure if you give them a phone call
they will process your order. I think they prefer to speak to you for
placing orders even if you email or fax them in.
Take it easy,

I've saved some of Jamie Lutch's very informative posts in the past about
the Nomad Jukebox 3, but I can't seem to find the file. I recall that
last fall he tested out some latest (at the time) firmware update and
all was good, it managed to record without the dropped sample problem
from before. Is that correct? Is the JB3 fully usable these days for
recording a lossless show? I'm also wondering about recording file length
limitations, I seem to recall something about a 2 GB (3 hour) limit for
recording WAV files, is that still the case? If I wanted to record a radio
show for say 6 hours, could I do that unattended, or no?
Is there a Yahoo Groups or some other mailing list specifically for the
JB3 in regard to recording? I've come across some webpage forums, by they
are mostly centered around the JB3 as an MP3, not as a WAV recorder.
