anyone else going to see the beastie boys at the HOB in las vegas?
I will be there... and hopefully will pull a tape.
I own a pair of stealthable MBHO's, an mp2 and a d8... but i don't think i can get all of this gear inside alone.
anyone can help bring it in?
if not, i plan to run a pair of dsm6's>d8 (oade modified preamp)
if any of you dat-heads are going to be there, i'd love some help in pulling off copies of the show!

Somerville, MA. Recently I bought a deck that allows me to transfer it
digitally to other media... so I've decided to trade copies on DAT to anyone
who wants one.

When I made the switch from win2k to winXP, I rebuilt my machine from
scratch (relocating drives & pci cards, changing scsi id's, etc). Since the
change I can't get my dat drive to read audio tapes. Vdat gives me C++
runtime library errors, dat2wav gives me "Drive didn't initialize" errors.
Thinking the problem was with winXP I reinstalled win2k and now get the same
issues there. Is my drive bad? Did changing the scsi id cause a problem? (I
used id.exe to make sure my machine recognizes the correct adapter & drive
id) Do I maybe have a termination issue? Anyone have ideas on what I did to
cause this problem?

I know it's been listed here 1000's of times but I need to ship my DA-P1 out
for cleaning and am wondering where I can find a fast and affordable place
to have it done. I'm having some difficultly with my digital(coax) out --
there are constant dropout's in the deck it's feeding to, live and at-home
(maybe from bar smoke -- not sure?) but something's messed up. A store in
the upper midwest is preferred but not absolutely necessary. Thanks for any
help and GO MN WILD!!!!
