Looking to sell my rig in order to upgrade to 24/96.
All pieces are in perfect mint condition, with low hours of use, and have been very well cared for.
I have all the original boxes, packing, reciepts, etc. as well.
All were purchased new from Sonic Sense 2 years ago, except for the D100 which was purchased from Klay Anderson.
Sound Devices MP-2 pre-amp
Sony SBM-1
Sony TCD-D100 w/ 7-pin digi-cable
Would like to sell as a pkg. deal, but will consider splitting them up if the price is right. Please don't email me unless you are seriously interested.
Peace,
-TaperB

I thought that band changed its name to
"Sonic Assault of Resounding Speed," figuring there would never
been an active disease of that name...

i gotta admit to being surprised by leonard's response to wes' original
post - seemed like a major overreaction to me, maybe he was having a bad day
(no excuse but....)
reading this thread further something crossed my mind...
i suspect that wes may have either been using his sonics with the wrong
sensitivity level set on his deck, or that something is wierd with his deck
as far as the sensitivity goes (??)
i tape alot of LOUD hard rock stuff, and i originally had a set of sonic
dsm6s/M which i used with my D7 + battery box, then a /L set for the last
couple years with a d100 that leonard did the mod2 surgery on for internal
battery power, and i have never had a problem with distortion on my
recordings, EXCEPT when i've had the sensitivity wrongly set at "H" on my
D7, or "0" on my d100
i've taped from up close, far away, and everywhere in between, and i've not
had any distortion problems with my mics
wes recently sold his sonic mics to a friend of mine along with the bass
rolloff battery box, and my friend has been very happy with them....no
distortion at the shows he has taped so far with them on his DAT M1, or his
analog (D6?) recorder
i'm not affiliated with sonic studios in any way, and i think leonard's last
post was pretty uncalled for, but i thought i'd weigh in with a thumbs up
for the mics in my experience

Anyone tape this? He did an hour+ set a week or two back, at the
President's Correspondent Dinner at the White House. With a quartet,
not the usual full-blown orchestra. Would very much love to hear
this -- please get in touch if you got it. Much to trade.
