Hey Folks,
Anyone out there got a Sony A6 owners manual they'd be willing to scan or
photocopy (or .pdf?). I'd of course reimburse all postage/copy costs, or I
could trade DATs/CDs.
Thanks in advance.

Does anyone in this forum use the M-Audio Flying Cow 24 bit A/D Coverter? If
so I am looking for some feedback on this unit. Does this device produce nice
quality sounding files? I would like to use as an addition to my home studio
with my Audiophile 24/96 soundcard. Thank you very much.

Radio Shack
Catalog #: 960-0435
Only available via mail order...
You can also do a search for other battery stores and see if you can find a cheaper price but $7.99 is a pretty good deal...

I have a couple of mono soundboards and was wondering if there was anyway to
make them into stereo. I remember seeing a post about a year or two ago on
dat-heads pertaining to this. I believe it had something to do with cool
edit pro, wet and dry mixing or something along those lines. I think it
also mentioned something about the fact that it would only word w/
soundboards.
Any idea what I'm talking about or did I just imagine this?
thanks in advance,

I've got a Nickel Creek show with a non-amplified acoustic encore, and the
crowd noise is HUGE. Would like to squeeze the dmanic range using SForge
(or CoolEdit 96, or ?) so that the -50 dB content squares with the -3 dB
crowd... The SF tool is baffling, so a little help would be greatly
appreciated. I understand the basics, but the stuff like attack times and
threshold are hanging me up. Anyone willing to help would be greatly
appreciated...
Drop me a line, thanks for reading -

Subject: battery for DA-P1
Date: Tue, 10 Jun 2003 20:08:46 -0400
I'm looking into battery solutions for the DA-P1. The echocharge
site seems to offer a 6 volt (BP-50) and a 7.5 volt (EC-90) system
that powers the Tascam which operates at 7.2 volts..is that correct?
Which of these 2 units do people use with the best success?
Also wondering about where to get the proper 220v to 110v transformer
to be able to use the echocharge walwart in northern Europe.
Thanks, Robert

Hello all,
I have time to take some limited amount of trades for
the following shows that were at the Woodlands
recently.
Def Leppard 5/31/03- HEB>D100- right stack, aprox
seven rows back-worthy recording..
Arrowfest6/7/03-dead center, 13 rows back(highly
recommended for the Woodlands!)
Fabulous T birds
Survivor- two PA dropouts during the 55 minute set
REO- very crisp recording-nice mix as well-70minute
set
Styz- these guys are hitting homeruns all over the
country right now-70 minute set
Journey- One of the better Augeri nights, but he was
having some problems w/ his ear monitors and the vocal
levels wavered at times... 80 minut set...
I also have tickets to tape the following in the next
few months:
Heart
Queensryche/Dream Theater
Poison/Skid Row/others
David Lee Roth
and probably The Eagles next week if Little League
baseball cooperates.....
Boston
Hagar/Skynyrd
Very much on the prowl for quality Boston shows if
they are available..They are heading to a city near
you this summer. *Please* roll those tapes!!!
looking for HQ DUAD at this time....Tapers ONLY.....
Thanks for the BW,
John

Hey everyone,
Wondering what the 'official' policy of this tour
is....both of these artists are traded somewhat
regularly, but I can't seem to find an official
statement.
Anyone taped this tour yet? Wondering what the scene
is....going to see them in a couple of weeks.
Peace,
Ivan

Hi
Mike Sain, the old bass player for Allgood Music Company emailed
this morning. Most of you may not know/remember them, but they were out of
Macon/Athens in the early 90's and opened for the Allmans for a short time
during 93 or 94 (my memory is a little hazy). Anyway, Mike has lost
contact with John. This is surprising, if you ever heard John play. I
halfway expected him to be famous by now. Mike wanted all my recordings of
his old band, and I thought it would be cool, if I could also throw-in the
contact info for his old guitarist and friend. If you know how to get in
touch with JOHN CARTER, please email me. Thanks!!!
John is the guy in the rear-left (you need to scroll down to 'Allgood',
then click on the photo).

Pedro the Lion has embarked upon their mostly European summer tour.
Click here for a full list of dates and cities; http://www.pedrothelion.com/
I don't know if there is an official taping policy, but I got a board
patch last time I tried, don't know about stands. I'm going to try and
cover a couple of the US dates in July and would love to hear other shows
from the spring and summer tours. Thanks,
Ragan

Hello
I am desperately searching for a brand new, boxed and unused SONY PCM-M1
Portable DAT recorder, to replace my old D-8 which has finally 'died' on me.
Terrapin tell me they are now discontinued, and no longer available, but
there must be some stock around somewhere.
I am in the UK, so looking for some help with this.
Anyone out there give me some advice where to look?, or better still...know
of one for sale.
Will happily pay up to $1000 for one, and can arrange for shipping to
internal US address for onward.
Many Thanks!
