From: Keith Bode <t.tunakebo@verizon.net> Subject: FS: PCM R-500 Date: Fri, 13 Jun 2003 12:47:10 -0700 I posted this here once before, and some people expressed interest. F no one goes for it, I'll put it up on eBay. It's to good to make available for everyone, first. This PCM R-500 shows 9 hours on the menu for head usage. It's in brand new condition. I bought it from the brother of the original owner, and have yet to use it. Since I bought it, I have continued to use the DTC 60ES I also have. I will gladly test out the functions for everythig except the AES/EBU in/out as I don't have anything to connect to. This deck is in brand new condition, including the owners manual and a brand new remote still in the box. Sorry to be blasphemous, but I want to get a Teac r2r. I am aking $600 plus shipping for the deck. Should I be unable to pass this deck onto anyone on list, and I'd like to see someone who really appreciates DAT decks with this deck, I'll put it on eBay. Keith

Date: Fri, 13 Jun 2003 19:48:58 EDT Hey kids, Just curious how many other David Thomas tapers are there, unless the DT below *is* the DT from the 80s/90s who used D5 and taped some of the best gigs ever at Maxwell's, Pier 84, 1018, et al... hrm, and who had an amazing Let's Active / Red Lorry Yellow Lorry collection (pity I am indifferent).
