The Sony Bit Mapper has two outputs so you can run two decks off of independant digital signal chains. If one deck misloads, just hope the other one didn't! And, if the show runs long, you can swap tapes at different times, and patch the whole thing back together in a computer/ audio workstation.. . Many preamps have two sets of outputs as well, so even if you don't have a bitmapper, you can get separate signal lines. . . Just a suggestion- Sorry it comes a little too late to help last night . . . -tom madison WI On Saturday, June 21, 2003, at 01:50 PM, Digestifier wrote: > > > From: "Andy Liu" > Subject: ISO: Blur 6-20 Seattle > Date: Sat, 21 Jun 2003 10:16:21 -0700 > > We got hosed and had the dreded misload in a D8....great frickin' show > too! > Many tears shed. > > Got plenty to trade....look at the masters list: > > http://db.etree.org/dwonk > > Thanks, > ANDY > > BWT: 1 B&P (2 cds as SHN only) > Yo La Tengo 6-13-02 Showbox, Seattle > Nak CM-301>Sonosax SX-M2>SBM>M1/R300>AP2496>SF>CDwave>mkwACT > > __________________________________________ ------------------------------ From: richard turnure Subject: alana davis Date: Sat, 21 Jun 2003 14:03:26 -0700 (PDT) did the SBD last night, 6.20.03, very good show, would love to trade for some waifs if any has any, dat or 1 cdr, adios, r ------------------------------ From: "Tatina, Bill" Subject: Best SolutioN = Wood >>Hand Made "Dat" Storage Racks Date: Sat, 21 Jun 2003 17:40:26 -0700 High Quality Handmade Racks, Using #1 Grade RED Oak! The shows are: San Jose, 11 April 2003; San Jose, 12 April 2003; Sacramento, 13 April 2003. Their pedigree is: Source: Core Sound High-End Binaurals (DPA 4061) > TCD-D100 (44.1khz) DAT > CDR: Tascam DA-302 > Audiophile 2496 > Soundforge v5.o > CDWAV > SHN I have an extensive list of Tori Amos material available on CD-R. I'm always looking for more Tori, as well as Cowboy Junkies, Josh Joplin, and Paul Kelly. I'll also take a few B&Ps, CD-R SHN only. Sorry, but my hard drive is too full to uncompress these to WAV right now. :( Email me if you're interested or have any questions. /nm ------------------------------ From: "Bill" Subject: Battery Box Scematic Date: Sat, 21 Jun 2003 20:16:49 -0500 Does anyone have an online schematic for a "battery box" that can supply 9V or so phantom power for two mics for two channel operation? All of the mics work fine, though I don't know how closely matched they are as I only used two at a time. Condition is good, as befitting of mics that are 20 years old. In other words, some light scratches, but no cracks, dents or worn-out threads. I never had a problem finding 6V batteries when I needed them. I'll sell the set for $400 and I'll cover the shipping.
