Hey all... I've been using the DMIC-20 for about a year now and am looking
to mix up my rig a little with something different. My DMIC has been
modified by Todd Romero (sp?) and has two fine tuning knobs above the
standard dip switches making it easier to tune within 5db increments. It's a
$100 mod. The unit is in like-new condition and was just in the
Graham-Patten shop about 6 months ago having a new face plate and top plate
put on. I also have a brand new instruction manual. I'm looking for $450 or
a trade to another like-priced preamp. Ideas include: MP-2, Oade, SX-M2, V2,
Beyer, UA-5 + cash, Midiman DUO + cash, Shure FP-24. I'm open to almost
anything. Interesting trades considered.
Thanks for the s p a c e....
Steve

Here's some stuff for sale that I don't use much anymore:
Casio DAR100 Asking $300
I'm the second owner. Set it to Paul Plotnick at Prodigital for a tune =
up when I got it. Comes with original box, owner's manual, 2 patch =
cords, NiCd battery and a battery pack that takes AA batteries (more =
realiable). Great for stealthing.
Beyer MV100 preamp Asking $300
Purchased from Marc Nutter @ Sonic Sense after I rented it one time. A =
totally mindless preamp, takes 2 9V batteries. Great for stealthing and =
a set it and forget it devise. Works great!
Take both for $550. You pay shipping/insurance.
Peace,
Jim Ratner

I need information on the Slimline Battery Module

Bass Roll-off option and the selectable frequencies.
Regards, Alberto.

1. plan on bringing Sony 957 > D7. (just got the D7 in the mail
today, previously a MD'er so I'm a bit nervous carrying all this plus
extra batteries and a few blanks below my crotch. that and
Polaris/Germain Amphitheater is generally tight on security getting in)
2. I have free to this Sunday's Columbus show, so I'm heading to that.
If I didn't have free tix, I wouldn't go to this.
3. Mainly going for Jurassic 5, but also may try to tape Pharoahe Monch,
QOTSA and Jane's.

Subject: D8 +_ oade cable for sale
Date: Thu, 10 Jul 2003 12:06:52 -0400
Howdy folks. I am selling my D8 and Oade cable and figured I would offer it
up to the list once more before posting on ebay.
The D8 is 4 years old, however has opnly about 40 hours of actual use on the
machine. I bought it from someone else on the list in person (Matt Currie)
about 2 years ago. It was his second deck and only used on sporadic
occasions when 2 different sets of mics were being run, etc. he used if for
about 40 hours in the 2 years he owned it. I have not used it a single time
since I have owned it due to not seeing much live music while saving to buy
a house and then repairing said house... I have the original bill of sale
signed over to me and all of the original packaging that comes with the D8.
I paid $400 for the deck and am looking to get the same back.
Also I have the world famous Oade cable (passive version) with the 7-pin
plug needed to patch out of this deck. I paid $125 for the cable 2 years
ago and have not used it a single time. I am looking to get $100 for the
cable.
I would like to sell both of these items together for $500.
I live in the Burlington, Vt. area and would ideally like to sell the deck
and cable in person.
Please email me if you have any questions about the deck or would like my
phone # to call up and ask about it. This is a great deal for someone
looking to get into taping/patching at shows to get a basically brand new
deck and patch cable for a great price!
Thanks for looking,
Eric

I've decided to sell my D10ProII. I bought it about 3 months ago from another taper. It has relatively low hours and before I bought it, it was given a clean bill of health by prodigital. The hours meter reads about 4 out of 10, which i believes means 400 hours, which isn't much for one of these. I have used it a handful of times at shows and at home a handful of times for a total of less than 50 hours. This thing is a tank. It has full sized heads and a 4 motor transport, similar to the HHb Portadat. Loads tapes in seconds.
I have all of the necessary accessories:
-DCP-80 for accepting DC power
-4 pin xlr to rt angle power cable to use the dcp-80 w/sla's
-12 pin digi in/out AES cable
-coax to xlr/aes adapter for taking coax input
-acp-80 ac adapter for home a/c operation
it is very rare these days to find this rolled up into one package. email me if you're interested. I can send pictures.
Price: $850 plus shipping.
