I am looking for ANY taper who was able to catch this performance. Would prefer to trade online and I don't even need the whole show, just this one song (and maybe the 30 seconds before and after, in .wav/.flac/.shn). I have lots of Nirvana, 2000/2003 Pearl Jam, and some various other things to trade. Let me know. Chris P.S. I would also take a higher quality version of this song from the Council Bluffs show, since I taped but my setup is a far cry from what it used to be (Sound Professionals T-Mic>Sharp MD-MT90, 18th row floor stage left). If anyone is looking for this audience source, I have the full show minus the first half of "Go" (did my "tape flip" right before "Go," in an attempt to not miss the end of a 9-minute "Porch" jam or anything like that). Did an optical transfer from my Sharp MD-R1 to a CMI 8738 soundcard, EQ'ed in Cool Edit Pro 2.1. Sound is a B/B- for "Arc" (crowd is very loud), B+ for the rest of the show. _______________________________________________________ Sent through e-mol. Please someone go out and tape the Subdudes!!! I caught their show last night and it is probably the best show I have seen or heard this year. I had my rig fully set up and soundchecked AOK. Then at about 01:40 my deck ( DA-P1 )dive.Don't know what the problem is except its time for the repair shop. Deck will not eject tape nor move tape in any direction. Motor sounds like it's running at top speed which makes me think that the tape broke or the drive unit is dead. Anyway, PLEASE, go out and catch these guys. It's a reunion and they are on fire! Would love to trade for any if you already have some. BTW they allow audience taping only and do not be afraid to ask Tommy Malone if board access is possible. Usually not but I was talking with him after the gig last night and almost had him convinced that they could add so much to their archives with a much better sound if we could patch into the board. After about 3 years of taping I need to get out. I'm moving on to new instruments and buying some studio time to record an album :-) So yeah. Below is a description of what I've got to sell and further down are estimates of what I'd like to get for them. Just make me an (reasonable) offer if you see something you like. Pass this one to anyone who might be interested. Thanks Matched Pair of Earthworks SR77 Cardiod Microphones (in tubes) -Bought new in June 2001 from Sonic Sense. Seen about 40 shows. Near mint condition (one mic has a scratch the size of a pin head on it). Will include DPA 0896 windscreens. Sony D8 -Bought new in June 2001 from Sonic Sense. Seen about 40 shows. Works perfectly. Normal wear and tear from being in my gear back but no real scratches or blemishes. About 100 hours on the head. Ran cleaning tape regularly. Will include XLR power cabe. Will also include 7 pin Oade cable (with coax input and output). Comes with leather case. Will also include DC power cable. Sound Devices MP2 -Bought new in June 2001 from Sonic Sense. Seen about 40 shows. Near mint condition. Works perfectly. Seen as many shows as the mics and D8. Will include XLR power cabe. Graham Patten ADC20 (44.1kHz model) -Bought used in July 2001. Two owners before me. Some cosmetic blemishes but NOTHING serious. Works perfectly like everything else. Will include XLR power cabe. Will include AES to coax cable. Pair of Audio Magic Presto II 15' XLR Mic Cables -Bought new in July 2001 from Sonic Sense with most of my gear. The cables are a stiffer cable and subsequently have a few bends in them. Again nothing serious and the cables work and sound perfectly. Eco Charge 6V Rechargeable Sealed Lead Acid Battery -Bought new in June 2001 from Sonic Sense. Used to power the MP2 and ADC20. Works perfectly and it's also in near mint cosmetic condition. Comes with Eco Charge SC-61 charger. Homemade 6V Rechargeable Sealed Lead Acid Battery -Bought/Made in January (or around there) of 2002 from Jeff Fulton (I think). Used to Power D8. Comes with PowerSonic 6 Volt Automatic Battery Charger. I put the battery in my Ecocharge Battery Case to provide some extra protection to it. Works perfectly. Never had any issues with it. Misc. Shure A27 Vertical Stereo T-Mount. Has thread adapter in bottom to allow mounting on my Boogen Manfrotto 17' stand (not for sale, it's broken). Bought new in June 2001 from Sonic Sense. Pair of Audio Technica AT8410a Shockmounts. I absolutely love these things. Work perfectly with the SR77s. Bought new in June 2001 from Sonic Sense. eMagic EMI 2|6 - Bought new in June 2002. Works perfectly. Will include leather case and USB cable. Used it just to convert shows at home. SoniCase Deluxe - bought new in June 2002. It's in great shape. Like new condition. Works great and stored all the gear above in it (minus mic cables, mounts, t bar, EMI). Love this thing. So yeah... that's what I've got. I'm looking for offers around these prices: SR77s: $700 minimum. Won't go below this so don't offer. D8: $375 Minimum. I think that's more than fair for a D8 with low hours, cables, case and 7pin. MP2: $400 ADC20: $175-200 Presto Cables: $250 Ecocharge Battery: $125 PowerSonic Battery (Homemade): $70 Shure A27: B.O. Shockmounts: B.O. eMagic EMI: $200 SoniCase: $150 Everything is pretty much best offer if I can't meet these prices. I just really need to get rid of this stuff/need the cash. I'll take cash, check, money order or paypal (add 4%). You can reach me at TheWarehouse41@aol.com or clister@berklee.net or on AIM at Discotheque41. Thanks. The advertised show is "RH live in Sheppherds Bush," 58 minutes, from this year, and the second show is an "encore performance," 30 mins, from the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. Does anyone know what these shows are? Smith" Subject: Little Jack Melody N.E tour July 16-18, '03 Date: Sun, 13 Jul 2003 11:30:11 -0500 Hey North Easters... Somebody go tape this run... Especially the Bottom Line gig. Brave Combo (Nuclear polka) is usually open to taping (ask for Jeff Barnes & use my name... ;) ), Little Jack (strange cabaret & torch songs) is also open to recording. Haven't seen Corn Mo (kinda like Wierd Al on ritalin...) since he packed up and moved to NYC a few years back, but he's a cool guy so it shouldn't be too much trouble... Stan Smith ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's Little Jack Melody and his Young Turks, driving all the way out and back again! Here are the dates, and we hope you can make it out if we're striking anywhere close to you: Wednesday, July 16- The Bottom Line, NYC. We're on a bill with Denton's marvelous Brave Combo and with former Dentonian, the utterly singular Corn Mo. It's the first ever "Denton, Texas Does New York" night, our first ever performance at this first-tier, world famous venue, and you can't miss it. Showtime is 8:00 pm, doors open at 6:00. For more information go here and here and here: http://www.bottomlinecabaret.com http://www.brave.com/bo http://cornmo.com/Cornmo_main.htm Thursday, July 17- (this gig is extremely tentative!, it may not happen at all, please call ahead!) Chameleon Club, Lancaster, PA. I thought this was nailed down, come to find out it's not. If we do it, we'll be opening for Brave Combo again. For more information, go here: http://www.chameleonclub.net/index.asp Hotline: 717.393.7133 Friday, July 18- One Arm Red, Brooklyn, NY. This is our first time ever at the very highly recommended performance space, One Arm Red. We'll be presenting "The Musical Theater of Little Jack Melody." The program explains it like this: "Denton, Texas, way way way way off-Broadway, is the home of Little Jack Melody. Tonight, he and his band of Young Turks will be performing songs from the numerous shows for which he's composed music, and some songs that are free-standing musical dramas in their own right. Melody discusses his work, the creative/collaborative process, and answers questions from the audience. James Lipton will most likely not moderate the evening." Showtime is 9 pm, and you don't want to miss this one either! One Arm Red is located at 45 Main Street #1009, Brooklyn For directions: http://www.onearmred.com/directions/index.html For more information: http://www.onearmred.com We look forward to seeing you somewhere. If you're way out west or somewhere up the middle, please recommend us to your NE intimates. Thanks very much in advance.
