From: rappard@dds.nl Subject: Re: Radiohead on DirecTV FreeView Date: Sun, 13 Jul 2003 21:24:09 +0200 (CEST) The "encore performance," 30 mins, from the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC Gary asked about in the previous digest is probably part of the 12/19/97 show, which was partially broadcast in (duh) 1997 or 1998. There's also a full soundboard of the same date, although not widely circulated - see my list. Regards, Martin http://www.rappard.dds.nl http://www.downtothewell.com
From: "Joost" <j.p.cornelissen@inter.nl.net> Subject: Sennheiser stealth cardioids? Any good? Date: Sun, 13 Jul 2003 22:05:43 +0200 Has anyone ever had any experience with recording rock shows using the Sennheider the MM-HLSC-1 stealth cardioid mics? See the following link: http://store.yahoo.com/microphonemadness-store/mmhigsencars.html How do they compare soundwise to the well-known Coresound Cardioid stealth mics, which I've been using for the past years? A big advantage is the smaller battery box that comes with it... Thanks for any info.

From: "- -" <nasnet1@hotmail.com> Subject: ISO: Taper in Robinsonville, MS (July 26th) Date: Sun, 13 Jul 2003 23:38:45 +0000 Hi, if you're able to go and tape one show in Gold Strike Casino - Robinsonville, MS please reply privately for details. I'll pay for concert ticket, blanks and beverages. Or I can trade (have lots low gen for trade, different artists. I can do DVD-Rs too, for example Peter Gabriel 2002/2003 shows). Thanks for the help! Nas _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail : un compte GRATUIT qui vous suit partout et tout le temps ! http://g.msn.fr/FR1000/9493
From: Eric Eckberg <shmurg@yahoo.com> Subject: FS: Maxell DDS HS4/90s (90meter) Date: Sun, 13 Jul 2003 17:54:26 -0700 (PDT) Some of us old schoolers still have a preference for Maxell thank you! Especially us old analog tapers/traders. Some people just don't get right. Enough said. What a waste of space-SORRY GUYS! Just thought to try this before the good ol' auction site! From: thesmashingpumpkins-33@juno.com Subject: ISO someone to tape at Pittsburgh's ROSEBUD CAFE Tuesday, July 15th Date: Mon, 14 Jul 2003 07:32:15 GMT http://www.fountainsofwayne.com/tour Fountains of Wayne w/ Ben Lee Tuesday, July 15, 2003 Rosebud Cafe -- http://www.rosebudstage.com/ Pittsburgh, PA Doors-7:00 pm/Show-8:00 pm $15 and 18+ I recorded this band stealth at 9:30 Club, Irving Plaza, The Tradewinds, and The Trocadero, using DPA 4021's > AETA PSP3 > Sony M1. The tapes are of greatly varying sound, as each venue was way different : ) The band is signed under S-Curve/EMI/Virgin so they cannot officiall allow taping. They do not mind if you tape, but they will go to no lengths to allow any special access, which of course sucks.. If you or someone you may know can tape this concert for me, I will pay for your ticket, transportation, parking, and whatever else you may need (tape, batteries). If you want, I could likely tape a concert in or near Philadelphia, all of NJ, and NYC, in return for this favor. The set will last 1 hour and 5 min. or maybe a little longer. It's a great pop-rock show filled with extremely talented songwriters and some sweet music too. Please contact me at: e-mail: TheSmashingPumpkins-33@juno.com AIM: PromTheme Thanks for the space, Tom Roach, NJ ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! From: Jonathan <kc7fys@yahoo.com> Subject: AAA NiMH rechargeables sought. Date: Mon, 14 Jul 2003 10:25:35 -0700 (PDT) hotdealsclub.com recently alerted me to a GREAT deal on AA batteries, just simple blank green cells in a block of a couple dozen for less than a buck a battery. They are 1800 mh and perform well in my D100. Now I'm looking for a similar deal on AAA cells for my geeky little handheld handy-talkie radios. Anybody know of a good deal on AAA cells out there? Jonathan in St. Paul PS. Anybody taping X on this current tour? I'll grab them on Sankens on Tuesday night. Email me for a clone. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? SBC Yahoo!
