I'm interested in what Dat-Heads are doing in stealth-mode with
their Collette capsules (or similar-sized mics).  

After experimenting with lapel clips on a couple of outings, I'm 
convinced that I'll have to go the hat-mount route, but I have a
couple of questions for those who're already doing it 

 How do you mount your capsules in the cap?

 Do you stick them out the front, or is it OK sound-wise 
 to keep them completely concealed in the hat? 

 Would a thin nylon 'screen' in front of the capsules affect
 the sound (much)?

Any input gratefully received.

I'm writing for Chris, who is stranded without DATS for the Steely Dan show
tonight. The media store is off to Horning's Hideout and he is fresh out of
DATS.  He will pay anyone back, who can help him! He needs either 4 -60s or
1-90 and 2-60s.
