Hey Now!
There was just no way that I could make it to Pittsburgh and I sold my
ticket to my friend, my friend Jim Charna.....
I was at Charlotte>ATL>Raleigh however......
and have masters of all 3 shows to trade.....
I am already doing B&P's for the entire run for about 6 people.
So I am maxed out in that area for now. However, I would REALLY like
to trade for the Pittsburgh 7/29/03 Phish show.
I can only trade DATs.
I also can offer the May Frog Brigade Florida shows, the April moe. Florida
shows or Savannah WSP as recent masters or plenty of other DATs as well.
Please contact me offlist if you have Pittsburgh Phish to trade.
Thanx!

*sigh*
I just bought a used Foxtex D5 in order to save head wear on my M1 while
transferring to disk. Unfortunately, it looks like my two-year-old M1
alignment has drifted *again*, after having Sony B&P service it at the
beginning of last summer. And I've hardly even *used* the thing since
then. Probably less than 50 hours on the head, record and playback time.
And it has not been dropped or bumped.
Tapes I recorded with the M1 last summer just after the servicing almost
do not play at all on the M1, I can *almost* hear the program material
through the "diginoise". Yet these same tapes play just fine in the
used D5.
Sony didn't tell me that in order to use their product, I'd have to
bend over for $250.00 and six weeks downtime every six months or a year.
And from hints I found during Google searches, a fair number of people
have had alignment troubles with the M1.
Anybody else on the list here have trouble with theirs? Does anyone
have a bootleg Sony service manual or have figured out how to align
theirs? Or should I just deem it a lost cause and forever incompatible
with other DAT decks?

I'm looking for a digital voice recorder. I'd like one which is small enough to leave in my pants or shirt pocket and provide a quality recording. Does anyone have a recommendation? Thanks in advance
