The timer is in hh:mm:ss I thought is was ??:hh:mm I got a real short recording, but it worked fine. Keith ------------------------------ From: "Gary Davis" Subject: OT: "Worm" is attacking Windows 2000, XP connected to net Reply-to: g@hoxnet.com Date: Mon, 11 Aug 2003 23:06:52 -0700 This is not a spam rumor. See Yahoo news for confirmation if you like. My neighbor running Windows XP and connected to DSL was hit by this tonight. Her screen flashed "RPC" messages for a while and then her computer crashed; now it reboots constantly. I had to re-install Windows to fix it, but it's still flashing "RPC." If you have an effective firewall program, you will probably be okay. If you are on dial-up, you are probably okay. But I'm not certain of either of these statements. You can read some technical details, including how to get "uninfected," at this address: (Network Associates site). http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_100547.htm One way to tell if you've been infected is to look for the file MSBLAST.EXE in the Windows System32 directory. But of course, this name could mutate over time. Sorry for the off-topic post, and I'm normally suspicious of people spreading virus warnings, but, I actually saw this happen to a neighbor's computer. This is the first time I've seen a virus that can attack a computer without the user actively inviting the code into his system. As a general warning to all, get some Firewall or "Internet Security" software and be sure it's properly installed and turned on! --Gary ------------------------------ From: "wboswell@excite.com" Subject: RE: Dylan Just Being A Dickhead! Reply-To: wboswell@excite.com Date: Tue, 12 Aug 2003 09:05:07 -0400 (EDT) Since this is a cross post from the Oade board from last week, if anyone would like to read more on the discussion of Dylan being a "dickhead", follow this link. There is a nice discussion. http://www.oade.com/cgi-bin/miva?Forum/community/viewthread.mv+thread=7622&message=7622 -William From: ISTEIN2@aol.com Subject: Dylan Just Being A Dickhead! Date: Thu, 7 Aug 2003 12:13:49 EDT It's one thing to be anti-taper, as Bob Dylan surely is, but quite another to refuse to contract so that his guest appearance performances could be included on the Dead's OCRS series..... _______________________________________________ Eliminate pop-ups before they appear! Please contact me regards Antonino ------------------------------ From: "Squid Productions" Subject: Bruce Springsteen Taping Policy Date: Tue, 12 Aug 2003 09:56:01 -0500 Does anyone know if Bruce allows taping? I would like to bring my rig (184s-Minime-G3) to tomorrow's Chicago show, but don't want to drag it with to be told NO. Not to mention I don't stealth tape because I work in the industry, if there are any stealth tapers going let me know I would like to get a copy. If they do allow my rig is 24bit so I'd be happy to share.......
