Tried emailing you but it bounced. I'm a video taper in the Cleveland, OH
area and might be able to get to that show, but only if they allow video

BTW-I record Digi8 so can fit up to 2hrs and 15 minutes of digital video in
16 bit sound on one tape and have had success with board patches if that is
allowed.

I'm still using my Sony ecm-ms907 one point stereo mic for dat taping that I
had used with my md, and while my md recordings turned out great for the
most part, the two dat tapes I've made have sounded less than stellar. The
Radiohead show I recorded in St. Louis last night sounds pretty nice, but
there are moments of overload in a couple spots, even though the levels were
set as low as I felt was feasible. I went mic in like the M-1 manual told me
to do, but I have seen some discussion about going line in for dat taping.
My sony mic is powered by a battery, but I was under the impression that
only mic set ups with a battery box had to go line in. Am I wrong? Can
anyone who has used a similiar mic with an M-1 give me some tips? Thanks in
advance.

gig at the union chapel in london on aug .30.
i like francis, and a guy i'm really liking, stephen harris, is performing.
chris difford ( squeeze) will be there too. oddly enough, on my side of the
pond i'll be seeing glenn tilbrook that nite.
if you arent doing anything , i encourage you to check this out. if
anyone could make me a nice tape of stephen's set, i'll pay for your ticket,
mail you some recordings, or some other way try to show my gratitude.
