Is there any reason why this combo wouldn't work? I prefer DSM's to CSB's, but
Core Sound's new pre-amp seems like a great deal with digital output and great
specs at half the price of the Sonic Studios with no digital output and few
specs on the website.
Thanks for any info anyone can provide.
Chris

Can someone point me to a primer (or send me one) on how to best add
track-demarks to a
.wav file with SoundForge to be burned with Nero? (I used to use CDRwin -
but there must
be an easier way these days). Specifically, I don't want to have to break
up the concert into
individual tracks.
Thanks
Will

Hi All,
I have run into the unfortunate circumstance of my first snapped tape. I'd
like to save the tape but I'm wondering if it's possible. I've done a bit a
cassette splicing and a couple of reel to reel splices but never dat. I
would very much appreciate any tips on splicing dats and also any sources
of tools for the job. I've never even opened a dat case so any and all info
is helpful. ( if its even possible)
Thanks a bunch,
Jeff

Better than splicing:
1. Get an empty dat shell.
2. Install each half of the broken tape in its own shell.
You'll lose a few seconds around the break (which you would anyway),
and this avoids possibly hurting your heads by having tape or gunk run
over them.
If all the music is on one side of the break you don't even need the
second shell.

I taped their 2 shows in Spain this summer

people with DAT masters of this band.
Thanks
