I generally don't mess with any post processing except for the
occasional straight linear normalization. I figure that I'm far from
experienced enough to be messing around with this stuff, and as likely
as not, what sounds "good" to me will sound like crap to another. I do
my adjustments with the playback equipment and keep my masters pretty
much as pristine as when they were recorded. Someone else may want to
mess with it down the line, but any tweaking I do will probably mess it
up for that other person down the line.

I'm looking to see if anyone else recorded this show. Through a miracle of
nature my ticket was front row center and while I did fire up a pair of the
Coresound HEBs the tape is lacking in vocals but if you're a drum fan well
then I've got a tape for you :)
If anyone was able to record this a little farther back I'd love to score a
copy. I can offer a lovely recording of the Shoreline show made with the
Schoeps in exchange.
Alex
