From: GaoBest@aol.com Subject: OT: ISO C Brown, Lawrence Kansas for B&P James Date: Sun, 21 Sep 2003 23:51:44 EDT I am so sorry everyone, but this message is for C Brown of Lawrence Kansas, as you sent a b&p but didn't clearly include your address, and I don't have your email address. I need to clarify what you want, as well as get your address. And people, for those who do a b&p, please include your address or (better) an address label or (best) send a SASE so that the person doing the copying knows where to send the address - it's not like we spend our lives memorizing for whom we will make copies of stuff. So try to treat someone the way you'd like to be treated, thank you. bwt: in celebration of the Cure kicking ass Saturday night at KROQ's Inland Invasion, Cure 7-23-98 Nimes (France), 2 cdr (total time: under 2 hours) b&p (dat source, but further information is NOT available, ha ha ha - EVIL). Although I'm not interested in a copy of Saturday's show (it was so perfect that I don't feel the need to ever hear it again), I do recommend it for anyone who can get it from whoever must have taped it (I'm guessing 12 tapers?)... cheers Mike

From: CyrKrtsMan@aol.com Subject: RE: Panasonic E80 DVD-R recorder question Date: Mon, 22 Sep 2003 13:23:55 -0400 John, The E80 does not allow you to copy from DVD-R to the internal HDD. On the other hand, you should be able to copy from a DVD-RAM disc to the HDD. The E100 *may* offer some additional possibilites as it has an IEEE1394 port in addition to the SD and PCMCIA slots. Regards, CyrKrtsMan
From: Colin Liston <cliston@cs.utk.edu> Subject: Bands that allow taping web site? Date: Mon, 22 Sep 2003 14:11:46 -0400 (EDT) Is the BTAT; http://btat.wagnerone.com/ down? I have been trying to get to the BTAT site, but it seems down right now. Does anyone know if this is for good, or just temporary? thanks colin PS, Rev Horton Heat does NOT allow any kind of taping, and the seek out people who do, got that from the bands management.

From: CCage@aol.com Subject: Denon DNC550R compatible w/ Microboards QD2? Date: Mon, 22 Sep 2003 15:04:04 EDT It's sort of DAT content - my apologies to purists. I have a dilemma and am wondering if others out there have experienced same problem. Got a new Denon DN C550R cd recorder from Oade last week. Transferring DATs on it DA-P1>coax>Denon 550R using remote to insert track marks. Denon Unit is burning DAO as far as I can tell - discs play seamless on all of my players. When I use Microboard QD2 to make copies - -it inserts 2 second gaps between tracks in - - ala TAO mode. The QD2 is brand new as well. Microboard and Denon techs are pointing fingers w/ no one resolving problem. Has any one else used this set up w/ similar issues? Any tips on eliminating this TAO issue? Thanks in Advance Chris

From: adam meyer <awmeyer_timmy@yahoo.com> Subject: FS: MD Deck and Standalone burner Date: Mon, 22 Sep 2003 16:45:02 -0700 (PDT) Hey all, I have for sale a home Minidisc deck (Pioneer MJ-D707) and a standalone CD burner (Pioneer PDR-609). These two units are a great setup for converting MD>CD . They both have optical ports, so it's possible to do digital transfers. They both work very well, and I've never had any problems. The only reason I'm selling these is I'm VERY hard up for cash. Email me with any offers at awmeyer_timmy@yahoo.com . Thanks for looking. From: "Tom Fuller" <Blueyes@zoomnet.net> Subject: mp3 disc making Date: Mon, 22 Sep 2003 20:27:23 -0400 I would like to talk with someone well versed in the making of a Mp3 cd from a stack of audio cds. I am having trouble with the song arrangement. I create a songlist like I want it, burn it to a MP3 data dc, and it turns out scrambled up. songs sound great but not in the order I want them. I am using software called "MusicMatch" it rips, burns, plays, etc. Tom
