hi,
I've been looking for this version of the
u2 McNichols SBD - 07/11/87. I have 2 copies
of the 48kHz source which is chopped slightly
Alledgedly, there is a 32kHz version which isn't
- does anybody have this or even a legit 48kHz
source which isn't chopped. I have some low
gen early U2 to offer in return, plus 'other
stuff'
thanks

Subject: A question about an old Johnny Cash show
Date: Tue, 23 Sep 2003 14:54:16 +0200 CET
Some time ago I got from a trade a show I didn't request, i.e. one Johnny Cash
show that apparently comes from a "Country from Olympia" series.
The concert runs 52mins and 50sec, sound is excellent, source is unknown (might
be either SBD, FM or TV).
I tried to contact the person who sent me this show in vain.
My question: does anybody know for this show the venue, source and the exact
date?
Thanks,
Enrico

From a friend:
I drove to Little Rock last Wednesday night and saw her there. I had
second row center seats--killer sound, and Lucinda played her best
since family and friends were in attendance. She broke from the
standard set list to "play to the family"--even a few Hank Williams
tunes--and the show lasted 3 hours!
If anyone has this, I can offer a Lucinda soundboard from May 16 and a
partial pre-broadcast soundboard from May 27 of this year.

I do laptop recording. I do minor editing before burning to CD. I want to
set up a spare computer in the living room as an input to my stereo system.
Right now I just feed my stereo CD's. I burn my 24bit files as data files to
CD. But these just stay in my archives. Waiting for more equipment/software
to show up some day that would make it easier to listen to my 24 bit files.
I'm looking for advice on software and hardware setups for a computer
connected to a stereo. Like.... is the best idea to use Monkey's APE
compression software for the 24 bit files and play them back using WinAmp?
24bit sounds so incredible compared to 16bit... I really want to get this
going on my stereo!!!
Any website links that talk about interfacing a computer based audio
collection to a typical stereo?
Thanks!
Winnie
