The concert runs 52mins and 50sec, sound is excellent, source is unknown (might be either SBD, FM or TV). I tried to contact the person who sent me this show in vain. My question: does anybody know for this show the venue, source and the exact date? I do minor editing before burning to CD. I want to set up a spare computer in the living room as an input to my stereo system. Right now I just feed my stereo CD's. I burn my 24bit files as data files to CD. But these just stay in my archives. Waiting for more equipment/software to show up some day that would make it easier to listen to my 24 bit files. I'm looking for advice on software and hardware setups for a computer connected to a stereo. Like.... is the best idea to use Monkey's APE compression software for the 24 bit files and play them back using WinAmp? 24bit sounds so incredible compared to 16bit... I really want to get this going on my stereo!!! Any website links that talk about interfacing a computer based audio collection to a typical stereo? Thanks!
