I have about 2 hours of it on analog (Cass/5) and I would love an upgrade. I have a small DAT list and a pretty big shn/flac collection. Link to that is below. Yup, I'm a recently converted Bruce fan. Took about 15 years but I finally came around. ...with a vengeance! I'm looking for some live stuff (especially Shea 10/3 and 10/4 but will take anything) because I hear that's where the real magic is. I only have a couple of Joad shows and 8/15/75 Bottom Line (great!)at the moment but I have plenty of other stuff to trade. Email me for my list. Appreciate any help. Thanks! All is fine except I am getting a bothersome toc error and toca error that I have overcome once or twice but it has popped up again and once during a show..Maybe you can fix it and overcome it for good.. It may be a simple fix, a push of a button even, your guess is as good as mine.. you can purchase this thing and try it out for yourself.. Make me an offer. Like I said, it's in great shape overwise. No digs, backside has some small scrapes, other than that I have taped several shows with it, the latest even 2 weeks ago...Let me know.. Thanks, Angel ------------------------------ From: "DRider" Subject: Primus - Taping Allowed! Date: Sun, 12 Oct 2003 00:43:24 -0400 Hey, Now, you know why I have been looking for Primus tapers...... Trying to deceide which pre-amp/a-d to get. I've noticed that alot of tapers are putting pres in front of Luntec V2s and V3s and Apogee's MiniMe. Is this necessary ? I was under the impession that these were integrated units with a quality pre inside. Are they looking for gain, impedance-match, compression or what ? Does anyone have a suggestion or two for a A/D-Pre in this range ? -Bob __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! So a friend of mine had the idea leave the power supply as it is and build an attenuator cable instead. We took an RCA cable and he inserted small SMD resistors (4.7k) into the jacks. Unfortunately, this didn't have any effect on the signal. My buddy had no idea why it wouldn't work, and I don't know it either, because my skills in electronics are pretty much limited to replacing the pick-ups of my Telecaster... So, any suggestions and wiring schematics would be greatly appreciated. later... For the last 3+ years i've been trying to track down a copy of Nirvana's 12/08/93 - TNT Building Oklahoma City, OK show. I have a 2nd generation copy that was recorded on a WM-D3 (that is missing the first song of the set), but i know that a fellow by the name of Ty Towry also recorded this gig, but on DAT. He offered copies of this tape in a alt.rock-n-roll post from Mar 3rd 1995 and i was wondering if any of you happened to get a copy? Any information would be greatly appreciated.Ty's past email addresses: tytowry@yahoo.com and pbear@osuunx.ucc.okstate.edu. I know he used to be involved in a lot of jam band trees & trading (Tulsa Tapers). Thanks for taking the time to read this!
