Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone has this recording on DAT... I have about 2 hours
of it on analog (Cass/5) and I would love an upgrade. I have a small DAT
list and a pretty big shn/flac collection. Link to that is below.

Hi All. Yup, I'm a recently converted Bruce fan. Took about 15 years but
I finally came around. ...with a vengeance! I'm looking for some live
stuff (especially Shea 10/3 and 10/4 but will take anything) because I hear
that's where the real magic is. I only have a couple of Joad shows and
8/15/75 Bottom Line (great!)at the moment but I have plenty of other stuff
to trade. Email me for my list. Appreciate any help.
Thanks!
Tony

Sharp md-mt15 for sale. All is fine except I am getting a bothersome toc error and toca error that I have overcome once or twice but it has popped up again and once during a show..Maybe you can fix it and overcome it for good.. It
may be a simple fix, a push of a button even, your guess is as good as mine.. you can purchase this thing and try it out for yourself.. Make me an offer. Like I said, it's in great shape overwise. No digs, backside has some small scrapes, other than that I have taped several shows with it, the latest even 2 weeks ago...Let me know..
Thanks,
Angel

Subject: Primus - Taping Allowed!
Date: Sun, 12 Oct 2003 00:43:24 -0400
Hey,
Now, you know why I have been looking for Primus tapers......
It's official!!
Open taping WILL be allowed on the upcoming Primus Tour:
http://www.primuslive.com/
We have absolutely NO COVERAGE for:
10/25/03 Eugene, OR Hult Center
11/20/03 Burlington, VT Memorial Auditorium Buy
11/22/03 Montreal, QUE Metropolis
Are you a taper that can hit one of these 3 shows??
We only have limited coverage of the other shows.
Many have only one taper that *might* be able to make it.
Can you make it to one of the shows listed below??
If so, please let me know!
When you do, I will put you in touch w/ the other tapers
that are covering the tour, so that you can network etc...etc..
Maybe, now since you can be sure that taping will be allowed
you will feel more at ease to contact me.......
Thanx to ALL the tapers who have responded so far!
If you already have contacted me and received "the coverage list"
there's no need to hit me again, unless there has been a change
in your plans or if I messed up any info.

I've been looking at the lineage on some of my
favorite audience tapes long and hard lately. Trying
to deceide which pre-amp/a-d to get.
I've noticed that alot of tapers are putting pres in
front of Luntec V2s and V3s and Apogee's MiniMe. Is
this necessary ? I was under the impession that these
were integrated units with a quality pre inside.
Are they looking for gain, impedance-match,
compression or what ?
Does anyone have a suggestion or two for a A/D-Pre in
this range ?
-Bob

Subject: self-made attenuator cable - need help
Date: Sun, 12 Oct 2003 14:16:45 +0200
Hi there,
I could use some help on this: I need about 10 dB less output from my DPA power supply (MPS6020) to avoid brickwalling on the line-in (*not* the mic-in!) of my SBM-1. So a friend of mine had the idea leave the power supply as it is and build an attenuator cable instead. We took an RCA cable and he inserted small SMD resistors (4.7k) into the jacks. Unfortunately, this didn't have any effect on the signal. My buddy had no idea why it wouldn't work, and I don't know it either, because my skills in electronics are pretty much limited to replacing the pick-ups of my Telecaster...
So, any suggestions and wiring schematics would be greatly appreciated.
later...
Christian

Hello Dat Heads, I have two AKG B18 power supplies with the optional A48 volt adapter. I am not sure what they are worth but would take the best offer. Must sell.

Hi All,
Interested in a few DAT trades. Would especially like to get some recent
Television shows, specifically the 9/27/03 Japan (Asagiri Jam Festival), 5/21/03
Madrid, and 5/23/03 Barcelona shows. Always interested in The Who/related.
Masters from the past 6 months include REM, Bruce Springsteen, The
Raveonettes, Bob Dylan, Liz Phair, Neil Young Crazy Horse, Lou Reed, and The
Wallflowers. Rig consists of km-140s > M2 > M1, would like high end rig tapes of similar
artists as well.
If anyone's interested email me privately.
Thanks,
Rob

Hello everyone. For the last 3+ years i've been trying
to track down a copy of Nirvana's 12/08/93 - TNT Building
Oklahoma City, OK show.
I have a 2nd generation copy that was recorded on a
WM-D3 (that is missing the first song of the set), but i
know that a fellow by the name of Ty Towry also recorded
this gig, but on DAT. He offered copies of this tape in a
alt.rock-n-roll post from Mar 3rd 1995 and i was wondering
if any of you happened to get a copy?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.Ty's past
email addresses: tytowry@yahoo.com and
pbear@osuunx.ucc.okstate.edu. I know he used to
be involved in a lot of jam band trees & trading (Tulsa Tapers).
Thanks for taking the time to read this!
