Not to be rude, but I was alway= s=20 under the impression (esp. from the lists I have of his from 1990) that he=20 taped the "major" rock shows in Tampa in the 70s (PFloyd, Stones, etc) - his= =20 list indicated that he had the master reels. I know this is so rude and=20 thoughtless to ask, but can someone please email and explain if it was him o= r someone=20 else who did those Tampa masters? I just hope someone isn't going to tell me that it wasn't Tannehill but=20 someone else who did the Ft Worth 70s shows (PF, Harrison, McCartney, Dylan,= et al)=20 with the TC-152. sorry again/ Mike =A0=A0 =20 John Tsalikes =A0=A0=20 TSALIKES, John Dean, 41, of Holiday, passed away Friday, October 10, 2003, a= t=20 home in Holiday. Thought those of you who've traded with John would like to know. Wow...I have traded with John off an on for close to twenty years. I think he found me from an old trading ad I had in the back of Golden Road or Relix magazines back in the mid-80s and remember he had an amazing collection of Rolling Stones recordings. I hadn't been in contact with him for several years until I saw his name and e-mail on DAT Heads a couple years ago and we did some more trades, as well as John attending and recording a Los Lobos show for me last year down in Florida. I'm not sure why he passed away at such an early age but this is a sad loss of one of the "old schoolers" in my book. RIP John - I still have many of the recordings you sent me over the years and will always think of you when I play them. ------------------------------ From: "spnews" Subject: Looking for Nada Surf / Death Cab For Cutie / Long Winters tapers Date: Wed, 15 Oct 2003 10:28:40 +0200 These are touring USA soon.
