I know this is a longshot....... But has anyone recently saved my webpage
http://www.sanctifiedpress.com/othertrade.html as a temporary internet file
or anything? Somehow while editing it last night I did something that erased
it. I found a cache on Google but it was about a month old and didn't
include my most recent updates. I hate to type it all again if I don't have
to. I HATE COMPUTERS.
Have a nice day, Danny

Hi All,
Does anyone know of a place that can service an Apogee AD1000? My unit
has begun intermittently losing frequency lock for short periods of
time. I called the Apogee factory and the fellow in the service
department I spoke with said they weren't fixing them any more.

I am looking to sell a Deneke AD-20 preamp:
The AD-20 is a high quality battery operated microphone preamp coupled with
a low noise 20 bit ADC. The SPDIF outputs are optical and coaxial and can
drive standard consumer DAT machines or computers that accept digital audio
I/O cards, such as the Zefiro ZA-2.
Looking to get $250.00 with external battery box that will get you 6X the
power. Made by Sound professionals. Only 8 months old, used very little.
E-mail me off the list if you have any questions.
Thanks
Matt

I was going through some stuff the other night and found a Jayhawks show
from 1994 that my sister had taped. I see them mentioned every now and
again on the list so I figured there would be some interest. The show is
on two discs and runs about 95 minutes. Here's the show info:
The Jayhawks - 06/05/94 Dixie's On Grand "Grand Old Day", St. Paul, MN
I'd be interested in any recent Jayhawks shows as well as other artists.
I'd kill for any Fountains Of Wayne.
Thanks,
Steve

hi
a friend would really like to find someone to tape a
show next week at
Denver's Gothic Theater. The band is called 16
Horsepower, and they're
apparently local but immensely popular overseas. Not
sure if it would be
stealth or not.
Will cover all expenses -- travel, ticket, media,
batteries, drinks.
whatever it takes to get someone in the door to make a
master!
please get back to me if you're available.
thanks.

mem shannon did the same on his first CD, between every song he has
some interesting "cab tapes" from his new orleans clients.
> I, also, am not sure of John's exact age.
i'm suspecting it was a typo, and he was probably 51, not 41. said he
was just out of high school in seemingly mid-70's i'm guessing (see
below).
here is some email i traded with him in dec 2001 - mar 2002:

wasn't all that expensive back then...and I was fresh out of high
school...and I have always loved going and taping shows...it was the
shows that got away that kill me...shows I went to and never
taped...Hendrix 1970, Police 1979...etc.......my first show that I went
to and taped was the West Palm Beach Pop festival in 1969......I
recently hooked up with my buddy Dan who I hadnt seen in about
years....he has the most of the festival and we are going to remaster
it in the coming months...tapes are very, very fragile
fish said:

JT said:
excellent question.....it was very commonplace for me to transfer and
make a safety copy of all of my cassettes then....cassette was not
known for it's fidelity whereas the open reels were the HIFI mainstay
if you will...I always copied my tapes to reel back then...in fact,
some tapes were actually recorded on the old 5 inch Uher open reel....a
few of my early dead shows, led Zep curtis hixon, derek and the dominos
curtis hixon...and a few others......I have in the past made a few
digital copies of my original tapes...mostly to PCM back in the
1980s...I just recently have taken them out again to do one last
transfer to cdr...I have done my Led Zep shows...some boards and a few
others will be next along with some Beatles open reels, etc. The
cassettes are extremely fragile...many of them TDK KR, capitol tape,
Dupont, etc....some got wet years ago while taping shows outdoors, etc
fish said:
> how are ya doing?
JT said:
crappy.....right in the middle of treatments right now and miserable.....
fish said:
i was afraid of that but wanted to ask
i don't have the email any more but i recall him saying he had throat
cancer, but was still smoking. and yes, he was a taxi driver.
