Subject: FT:MIKE TRAMP (former White Lion frontman) recent solo shows
Date: Tue, 28 Oct 2003 10:25:41 +0100 (MET)
Hi all,
been "on tour" with Mike Tramp and his bands for 6 shows of his current
"More to life than this" european tour in support of the BRILLIANT album with the
same title.Killer shows, some 2:10h every night covering his entire career
with songs from his former bands White Lion (Wait, When the Children cry,
Little Fighter, ..) Freak of Nature (What am I, Candle,..) and his last three
solo albums...ending the set with a killer versionbeen to surely 150-200 shows
in the past 10 years but hardly enjoyed anything like these gigs..
Mike was so damn cool with me taping the shows with my big rig (Neumann KM
140s > Beyer MV 100 > Sony SBM-1 > Sony TCD D100), was even allowed to patch
in the SBD at the very last show I attended in Switzerland. These are the
nicest and most unspoiled people you can only think of, invited me backstage and
offered to eat and drink from their catered food and drink, wonderful
experience.
Anyway, since he's about to release a double live album next month I'm
"only" allowed to trade for my audience tapes...since he will reunite White Lion
for next years big festival dates, these might be his last solo shows ever..
If anyone is interested, please contact me for a cool hard rock trade...
Best from cold Munich, Germany
Karsten

i know this aired on KQED in San Francisco (PBS affiliate)
but not on my local PBS :-( anyone happen to tape it? i'd
love a VHS hi-fi copy if anyone wants to trade...
This program celebrates the last concert at this rock and roll
palace and captures the energy and spirit of the 60s and 70s.

I am looking for recordings from the band "Orion the Hunter". This a band
that Barry Goudreau formed after leaving Boston. Orion the Hunter briefly
toured opening for Aerosmith in 1984. If anybody can help me out, I would
greatly appreciate it.

In the interest of getting this to a taper
I'm asking $750 including an EcoCharge
beta system and a custom PortaBrace case.
Great unit.

The time has come when this unit has gotten too big for me to carry around
anymore. Also, I plan to do more stealth recording in the future and the
DA-P1 is far too bulky to use for that application.
This unit is in excellent condition and just received a clean bill-of-health
from American Pro Audio in Minneapolis in July. There are 1-2 small
scratches on the front "gray paint" area of the unit -- hardly noticable and
they don't affect the usage of the machine.
I'm looking to get:
$900 for the unit OR
$600 plus a Sony D8/D100/M1 and 7-pin cable in trade. Make me an offer.
If you buy this, you'll receive:
(1) Tascam DA-P1
(1) wall wart unit for AC power
(1) original box and instruction manual
(1) Tascam rechargable battery
(1) carrying strap
Also, I'm throwing in:
(1) Oade Bros. rechargable battery
(1) Oade Bros. power cord (unit to battery)
(1) Oade Bros. electrical cable (battery to charger)
(1) pair of black XLR cables (approx. 10-12' each)
E-mail with any questions or if you're interested. I have pictures available
too.

To Eric, Len or anyone:
How many hours battery life are you seeing with a 9V alkaline in the
Mic2496? I know the MBHO's are fairly power hungry so that should be a
reasonable worst-case.
