Something conductive must have shorted the terminals that were in your bag / case with them. When that happens, the batteries are shorted, so there is no current limiting, causing the batteries to heat up, get damaged, and possibly explode. This has been discussed by many members of the list. You aren't the only one. But this can happen with any battery / battery pack. If my batteries aren't loaded, I always keep them in plastic battery cases to prevent this. I've been trying to e mail you but the messages are getting kicked back to me and probably not getting through to you. Please e mail me if you catch this posting. http://home.att.net/~meurglys3/index.html Thanks, Tom ------------------------------ From: "Markham, Timothy" Subject: FS/FT: Apogee Mini-Me Date: Tue, 11 Nov 2003 18:38:17 -0700 Well with my taping schedule slowing down to a crawl it just makes more = sense for me to have a little cash in pocket than to hold on to this.=20 I am the original owner and have the original box although I believe the = manual has vanished but you can download a copy for free off of Apogee's = website. I bough the unit in October of 2002 from SonicSense and it has = seen moderate use since then.=20 The unit is a Rev C and will run off of either 6v or 12v. It has = internal gain jumpers which I set to low gain as soon as I recieved it. = The unit is excellent condition... no scratches, dings or dents. There = is a WSP "Satisfied" sticker on the bottom of the unit but that can = easily be removed. When the unit wasn't being used it sat in it's black = padded Apogee case and in my closet. It looks brand new.=20 So here's what's included... Apogee Mini-Me with USB 4 Pin XLR 12v power cable 4 Pin XLR 6v power cable Padded black Apogee case AC power supply I'd like $950 or, preferrably, I'd like to trade for a mod-sbm-1 and = cash ($400).=20 I can do PayPal ------------------------------ From: Colin Liston Subject: big sandy and his fly rite boys? Anyone have any suggestions about reconditioning the cell? -randy ------------------------------ From: dolphin smile Subject: FT david lindley 9-6-03 fillmore Date: Wed, 12 Nov 2003 09:02:13 -0800 (PST) send lists if interested. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
