From: david.thoma@comcast.net Subject: ISO 7-pin cable Date: Thu, 13 Nov 2003 19:12:48 +0000 Hey guys, I'm looking for either a 7-pin > 7-pin or 7-pin > coax cable to go from my sbm-1 to my d8. Anyone looking to part with theirs?
From: =?iso-8859-1?Q?Christian_Spie=DF?= <teenage_riot@web.de> Subject: Re: Damien Rice Date: Thu, 13 Nov 2003 20:57:45 +0100 I got lots of responses on my request some time ago, so I think this might be of interest: Damien Rice does NOT allow open taping of any kind. I spoke to his manager, his foh engineer and Damien himself. They don't want mic stands and don't give out board feeds. However, stealth taping is perfectly okay with them. His manager said something like: it's okay if you have a small recording device and a single microphone not bigger than my hand that you wear on your body. I then asked if it was alright if I taped my mics on of the poles facing the stage and he said no, if it falls off and hurts someone, we have an insurance case. Anyone ever suffered from a head injury caused by a DPA 4060? Anyway... Damien Rice = stealth taping. If anyone has good sounding DR DAT masters (good rigs etc.), I would be interested in a trade... later... Christian

From: trudatman@fourwalledworld.net Subject: BTAT Date: 13 Nov 2003 20:47:37 -0000 I sent a bunch of submissions to the Bands That Allow Taping list, and I was hoping they could be reflected in the next update. The One in charge has no contact info, so here's hoping that this note gets noticed. Thanks. --
